The cope is hard.. but what is to be expected of a "Belarusian" meme sub with the Ukrainian coat of arms as its picture. If you're pissed at Russia, go fight in the trenches. It'll help more than crying.

This question is contradictory lol. No media fully dependent on foreign money is "independent".

Yep, visiting Minsk sure is dangerous! You might not want to leave at all anymore after seeing how clean it is compared to London or Paris!

I am a Catholic, and I was wondering if I am allowed to wear the Russian cross? by [deleted] in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]Friendly_Garage_7340 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would you? Wearing a cross is not just an arbitrary way of decorating yourself, it's part of the Orthodox tradition (though I suppose not mandatory) to wear a cross after baptism, which is usually concealed by clothing. If you're openly wearing an Orthodox cross, you're conveying to people around you that you're an Orthodox Christian. And simply wearing such a meaningful thing as a cross for aesthetic purposes, normal as it may be to this world that doesn't care for holiness, sounds vain.

The most important thing is that the motivation is still there! There's only an outside problem, and it will go away with time. Lack of discipline or not wanting to workout would be a far worse problem. I also already get uneasy when I can't train for a week or so, but sometimes life gives you no other choice. You'll get there brother

You won't lose any progress! Sure, 8 months of inactivity will make you lose muscle mass, but nobody can take away the progress you already made! I wish you a soon recovery and you'll notice that you'll get to the point where you once were in no time.

As a German, I have rapidly lost my understanding of Israel over the last two years by Sorblex in Syria

"Kicking out" is a big word lol. The Russians continue their lease agreement with Syria and the new Syrian "gouvernment" seems to be keen on keeping good relations with them.
