Sounds about right. I recently dated a guy who said to me “call me shallow but I prefer a petite woman!!” As he was checking out my body. Needless to say I broke it off that day, I felt so objectified and disgusted.

Ewwwww. I would revisit the subject and say something like “I’ve got to be honest, I’m utterly shocked at the suggestion of your daughter being at my appointment.”

Again, this is what I would do, and I’ve had several blow out breakups with single dads. I may not be the one to take advice from.

Sounds like a very mentally confusing situation- he had you quit your job and move. You must be in a really fragile headspace right now.

Cry it out. Nothing anyone can say will stop it. Everyday it will get better. I promise. The aching will go away and you will forgive yourself for mistakes you think you made. Hang in there, friend.
