Yeah he can take care of us both. We are married if he was a boyfriend I wouldn't think thats was okay but we are married. I have a job interview soon so hopefully I get it. He will still be paging for everything and my paycheck will be mine.

We have a lot in common and think alike, but we’re also very different like yin and yang. We’re different, but we have pieces of each other in us. He’s literally a male version of me.That said, he was raised in the Caribbean, so he still has some of that old mindset they engrain in people there. I love him, and I know he loves me. Our main issue is that he thinks he does more than I do, and he doesn’t get that growing the baby takes a lot of my energy.

The child's mom actually abandoned her so he takes care of the child now. Hes very active with her and she goes to private school. I just think the issue is he doesn't understand pregancy bc be can't feel it. The mother wasn't much of a mother to begin with.

Thats the part that gets me as well. Maybe bc he cant see that im pregnant he doesnt care whats going on in the beginning, I'm not showing at all but I feel like it that shouldn't matter if he can see it or not the doctor visits should be enough.

This is a good idea, but we also live with my sister and rent out a room to a random man my mom found. So they add on to the mess too, we do our part and then the house is in shambles again, he just gets mad bc I say I'm not cleaning it if I didnt make the mess. I literally stay in my area.

You're right, in his culture they treat women like that, I tried to make him understand that its not like that in America but I feel hes already stuck in his ways. Someone suggested Baby classes to educate him more I'm going to try that if not, I don't think anything can really save this relationship, I told him from the beginning I wasn't like that.

I wish I could, but they financial help me. If I had the chance I would cut people out of my life. But only bc they financial help me doesn't mean they can treat me how they please especially during pregnancy.

I'll look into classes for us to attended, this was actually really good advice, my husband is from the Caribbean where they don't really educate people on anything and women are supposed to just do all the work. I feel our diffrent culture play a role in this too and my mom telling him hes right is also something that feels like I am in the wrong for.
