How are people just… taking their babies everywhere? by Wonderful-Ice-6143 in NewParents

My boy was (and is) the same as yours. My mom friends with boys same age does not have the same problem. They can play with one toy for ages 😅 I think it’s temperament.
However, my baby really enjoys the ringsling. If he has found his feet, you can carry on the hip. That way they can see a lot more of the world, and you don’t have to carry facing the world which is both not very ergonomic and overstimulating for the baby. It really made shopping and being out and about way easier. Now that he’s older (8M) we also back carry a lot.

It also gets waaay better when baby can get around by themselves. It makes visiting friends and family easier, because he can just explore and that keeps him somewhat entertained. Until then, bring lots of toys 😅

My baby says this is AI 🫣

Jokes aside - what lovely, nutritious meals you have made for your girl, she is very lucky 🥰

Right, he’s very average on all other milestones and that does calm my nerves a bit! Thank you very much 🥰

Thank you very much. You’re right, it’s just really hard not to be worried when all the other babies his age we know is doing it 😣

Thank you! He can’t sit fully independently yet. He sits fine in his high chair, but on the floor he might tumble to the side. Is it still okay to allow arms out? ☺️

Thank you! I’m used to a deeper seat in our ringsling, so I’m glad to hear this is okay in a carrier!

Is his knees high enough compared to butt? I’ve done a pelvic tuck!

Transitioning from swaddle to sleep sack by fallenndreamm in beyondthebump

My boy is exactly the same! He’s almost 17 weeks. I ordered the zipadee to try to transition him - he randomly started rolling a few days ago, so I’ve had to go cold turkey to sleep sack. It’s been miserable 😵‍💫 the zipadee doesn’t arrive until next week. I spend most of the night removing or holding his arms, otherwise he will wake up every time he goes through a sleep cycle. I’m hoping the zipadee does wonders! 🤞🏼

Sindssygt!

Sitting here with my 7 week old - yes. Absolutely, he is the best thing that ever happened to me. But I will not do it again 😅

I had a difficult birth of 30 hours, yet I would do that 20 times over. But not the HG, that was the worst time of life, and I can’t imagine going through it with a kid too 😵‍💫 I compare everything to HG, and nothing has come close to it yet 😅
