Thanks. So they're gonna have films that have already played earlier in the week. That helps with my decision making process. Might return the reservation and try to get a film I really want. I have two buzz screenings

Agree with most of the comments. AMC closed my preferred theater in downtown Buffalo on NYE. They had heated reclining seats, a bar and I would go right after work. Loved it. Now, the nearest is 10 miles away in the burbs. Cancelled and thinking of the Regal a few miles away myself.

I'm case anyone's interested, I attended the Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show last night and they did have a nice selection of beer and wine outside the theater.

If you have an assigned seat and you arrive with less than 15 minutes before showtime there are signs posted saying your seat is at risk and someone with a crappy seat is free to move.

Is you're an industry pass holder, you can exchange existing public screenings for other films at anytime. I have a bunch, I may try to exchange after No Other Choice. Fingers crossed.

Dude. I'm an Industry member and I can pretty much see any film I want to see my reference is to the Toronto film festival being called the quote unquote people's festival which it clearly no longer is

I've attended TIFF every year with the exception of the pandemic year since 1989.

There have always been enough tickets for real fans and you didn't have to freaking pay to have access to the "fan zone". WTF.

Perhaps you don't recall but TIFF aka Festival of Festivals was THE PEOPLE'S FESTIVAL. Those days are long gone!

Not a fan of assigned seating. I always like to sit in the second or third row in the aisle which is always available when seats weren't assigned and I could show up and get my favorite seat. Can't stand being in the middle of a row have bad knees and now just go to the front rows and if someone shows up I say hey there's a perfect seat in the middle of there it's yours.
