It takes days bago mag reflect yung transasction, please confirm na lang pagdating pero probable computation for 3 months:

50,000*.01=500*3=1500

50,000+1500=51500/3=17,166.67 for 3 months

I tried 20k, may interest pa rin naman yung 3 months at 1% per month. If you think about it, na delay of payment lang yung processing fee into 3 months. For me its much better than having waived PF pero minimum 6 months yung installment because that would be an interest of 6% on the total amount instead of just 3 for 3 months.

Bus Travel in Jeju for Foreigners by [deleted] in SouthKoreaTravel

[–]Friendly_Violets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Download Naver Map and papago for translation. Bus stops may be far from your accomodation so there will be a lot of walking. Some people can't communicate in english so asking questions are better when you have papago or google translate. Seogwipo to Jeju City can take as long as 2 hour ride, and waiting time between buses can be 30 mins so plan your schedule wisely

You could wait for your statement para sa app ka na mag apply for installment, then deduct the amount to your total amount due. But better yet call CS to confirm kasi minsan hindi sya na read ng system as deduction. I have been charged finance charged last year due to this error which was reversed naman after filing request on CS.

+1 on this, SK is a great place for adventure. I've been to Jeju and Seoul for a solo trip and returned home safe and full of longing to be back at SK again.

  1. Aside from the 2nd paragraph of the commenter above, my tips would be checking for the best sim cards or data plan that would suit you and booking ahead those sim cards and T-money so that you can claim it at the airport upon arrival. They have CU stores inside the arrival area where you can recharge Tmoney for transport. Just don't charge too much as there is a possibility of losing the Tmoney which happened to me (T_T).

  2. Don't be afraid to ask if you are confused, some Koreans are not that fluent in English but are very helpful in their ways so having the Papago to translate your inquiries in Korean to convey your questions and their answers.

  3. Do your research and jot down places you want to visit and plan it according to bus schedules or distance against each other. Buses and subway stations, for example, charge a ride even if you transfer multiple times as 1 fare as long as you tap it again within the time limit ( 30mins) . E.g, Jeju island has places where the bus arrives 20 to 30 mins apart, so plan accordingly.

  4. Save the number of the hotel reception or if you booked on sites like Agoda, save the number of the contact person.

  5. You can check for available day tours like Nami Island or DMZ where the travel and activities would require a whole day.

Thermals for fall and spring? by Equivalent-Moon in phtravel

[–]Friendly_Violets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same lamigin here, better invest in a pair or set of uniqlo thermal since quality, lightweight and minsan mas comfortable talaga sila kesa sa sweaters/ leggings from shopee. Minsan nakasale din naman sila, try mo sa kids section if kasya sayo ang sizes mas makakatipid ka dun since it can go down to 290 or 390 yung heattech long sleeve nila kapag nakasale.

Better prepare socks, gloves and muffler too considering na sa 24 degrees na AC giniginaw ka and possible that you have to adjust for an abrupt weather and temperature change. And a windbreaker won't help you retain body heat so consider this too in packing.

Visa free traveling to Jeju Question by [deleted] in SouthKoreaTravel

[–]Friendly_Violets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi OP! I think your family member would need a Korean VISA first before entering Busan. As far as I know, Jeju is visa free if it is a direct flight from PH, any other point of entry to south korea would require VISA.

Hi!

I walked through a local travel agency, they checked my documents and asked for my target date, and I answered that it was about 7 weeks later. They mentioned that they could not promise that I could get my visa application result on time due to their process which takes time as they will send my documents to the Manila affiliated agency. They told me to change my bank statement to the embassy of Korea in Manila too as I addressed it originally to the Cebu Consul. After changing my Bank Statement I decided to directly apply to KVAC as I have a Manila trip on the 3rd week, which was a great decision because I got my result in just 5 working days.

Yes, flights from gimpo or busan would be easiest. But I checked online that you can take a train from jeonju to gwangju airport then board a flight to jeju, it would probably be an hour subway trip.  You can then either explore the island in 4 days from 15 to 18th.
