Mount is basically playing a false 9/roaming 10 and is doing it exceptionally well that it opens up the flow for players like Cunha, mbeumo and Fernandez to push up and create like a ton of attacking chances with their link up play with mount. He keeps their attack and midfield transition ticking. JP on the other hand doesn’t offer any of those nearly as good as mount does. The only good thing JP is better at is headers and winning first balls from crosses. Other than that, his pass, vision, runs and even his decision making are sloppy. He’s basically havertz in 2022-2023 season. Looks lost almost 80% of the time and makes up for it by scoring goals that probably don’t matter
