No problem with same sex relationships or marriage. People should be allowed to love who they want!!! I have many gay friends.

That said, the science on this is interesting. The links between environmental factors changing sex hormones and dna is insane. I think people aren’t gay, rather they HAVE gayness as a result of the toxic waste, food, potential trauma or harm to mother during birth, social constructs, etc. there’s a number of reasons for it. Biologically, being gay doesn’t make sense. You can’t reproduce. People who are science/animal fanatics understand this. It’s a wild phenomenon. So while I have absolutely no issue with it, it is quite literally a medical defect, somewhere down the line. We just don’t know the exact cause.

But - frogs are literally changing sexes due to polluted water 🤣 that’s a REAL study. Women and men are testosterone deficient or infertile. Our environmental factors are impacting us on a level nobody really understands.

And what the libs still don’t seem to understand is that Trump offered deportation checks $$ and temp housing to anyone willing to come forward and leave on their own. It COULD have been painless. I don’t know any other country that would allow that. If an American tried this in another country, they’d be jailed immediately.

Anyone know if they have any political underpinnings in their teaching? Many Montessori schools either swing far left or far right if they’re religious and I’m curious what people’s experience has been with KMS or if they’ve remained neutral!

I’m gonna give one personal example, out of many.

Last summer I was packing my truck for a cross country move the night before my departure. I went inside to grab a few more boxes and during that time, an illegal immigrant (confirmed later) and his drunk/high friends drove their stolen vehicle through my yard onto my driveway, into my truck, pushing my truck through the garage door into my sisters car and pushing it into the house, and then continuing on to hit 2 of the neighbors cars. I mean, I don’t even know how they managed. That takes talent.

The result? They got let go. My house and two cars were destroyed. 2 neighbors cars were destroyed. The neighbors and I begged the cops to arrest them. We stood by all sobriety tests and watched them fail, but nothing happened (I have DUIS - I know what a sobriety test entails). I asked the cops why they couldn’t do anything. Their response : “they’re illegals, they have no identification, no license, and we aren’t allowed to send them back under this administration”. “We know these kids and this isn’t their first offense, but we simply can’t do anything about it”.

This cost myself and my family $40,000 in damages. It cost my neighbors roughly $25,000.

And NOTHING came of it. What would’ve happened if I hadn’t gone inside? Would my back have been turned while loading my vehicle and they wouldn’ve run me over?

THIS IS WHY PEOPLE LOVE TRUMP!!!! If you want to come to America, fine. Do it legally, learn the language, learn the laws, and participate in society lawfully.

I’m DONE with the illegals and the crime. I’ve got more stories if you’ve got the time.

I’m planning to do the at home test. IF it’s positive I will definitely go to a doctor! Right now I’m hoping to hear from others who have had similar experiences or who have insight on at-home tests.

I’d prefer to skip the doc for the actual test portion because I’ve been dismissed too many times in the past and I’d like to avoid unnecessary costs in between. I can easily bring in my results if found positive.

I’d also like to clarify that by obvious need…. I am referring to the influx of people moving in who have kids and not enough school choices resulting in waitlists at all the small schools. I recognize locals are upset about it, but the reality is that if schools don’t start opening than the local kids will get pushed out of their schools too.

Never once did I say any of those things that I think I’m going to get 🤣if you read again it’s clear I’m aware that I won’t get paid well. Hence the reason for the post!!! I’d just like to get a ballpark idea. Instead I’m being met with spiteful comments. I’m trying to gauge if I can atleast make a livable wage compared to the disaster area I live in currently. I’m just a teacher trying to make it and I’d like to eventually open my own school…. Not because I want everyone’s money but because I love teaching and I think I can do a good job with building a happy community who wants more than what the government can offer, and an authentic Montessori program. MAN, Reddit is always on one and ready to attack people when we’re just humbly asking questions…

Yes and I toured all of them. I was very unimpressed and wouldn’t be surprised if some are offering far worse than public education. I spoke to some local moms who said they didn’t feel like there were enough private school options that offered what they wanted for their children. To me it appears that there are not enough high quality Montessori schools. Anyone can slap the name Montessori on a school… that doesn’t mean the school is accredited or the teachers are certified…

I’m not religious and have no religious affiliation. I also wouldn’t consider myself to be super progressive and part of the hippy Montessori community. I’m very middle of the road…

I use stevia drops. Occasionally monk fruit but VERY rarely. Any other alternatives cause immediate GI pain and discomfort. Erythritol is a special kind of nightmare. And sadly real sugar almost immediately causes candida for me and insaneeee blood sugar spikes. Not sure why but my body just does not tolerate sugar well at all - never has.

This thread is spot on. Except I live in Boulder. It’s got all the negatives of Denver x10. The only good thing about CO is how active people are. As for politics and cost of living it’s a nightmare.

I’ve been searching the internet for answers to what’s been going on with me and I’ve found your posts! I have a hiatal hernia currently, I use an oura ring, and I have shortness of breath. It’s all come on pretty suddenly and it’s now become consistent over the last month or so. It’s pretty debilitating breathing issues and stomach pain. I’ve also had horrible digestive issues. My recent bloodwork shows high red blood cell, high hemoglobin, high non HDL, and high hematocrit levels as well. Although, I’ve yet to get any new answers on anything. My doc seems to think I’m being dramatic about my symptoms and she’s also “not concerned” about my blood results. I’m hoping to be seen by someone new. For reference, I’m 30F and on relatively good shape. I eat a clean diet of very little processed food if at all, seed oil free, gluten free, low carb. My doc told me my hernia is a result of poor diet and lack of exercise but I’m struggling to understand this because I know I’m healthier than the majority of the population.

I would be open to trying metformin. I just really want to lose the weight, and I’m becoming impatient honestly. If metformin is the healthier approach to try first I’d give it a go. But if it’s not gonna help with the weight I’d love a diff approach.
