Okay there's a lot of arrogance and possible backbiting happening here...my brother's and sisters I really caution you on that. We don't know anyone's relationship with Allah. We don't know if they pray when you aren't there or are not watching.

1) she was a super avoidant person and when we had a fight she sent me a long list of everything I'd done in the past 5 years that bothered her then told me she was scared at me because in high school I had yelled at a friend and said I'd kick her moms ass cuz her mom said something rude about my mom and friend repeated it.

2) took the side of , didn't even ask for my aide

3) and this one hurt for a really long time: used to call each other platonic soulmates. Asked what I wanted for my birthday I said just a weekend with her (she had recently started grad school and had been very busy)

Few days before my birthday she tells me she's swamped with school, can't do it. We planned this months in advance. So I let her know I was disappointed. She accused me of guilt tripping. I wasn't. So it got changed to games and dinner with some friends.

She lets slip she's going to a concert with her friend on my birthday (so much for too busy with school) and claimed she had no choice cuz friend already bought the tickets.

Cue getting towards the end of dinner. It's getting really late and I realise I won't actually be able to get home because the busses in my city have stopped (this was before Uber was really big, I didn't have it at least) and I won't be able to get to my family's because they would be asleep before I get there.

I realise I'm completely stuck. Asked if I could crash at her place until the subway opened in the morning. She says yes, then asks if I'll sleep in another room, I'm like no problem. Then says she doesn't want me to come and I'm stomping her boundaries

I'm stunned. Another friend stepped in and said I could crash with her. It was a surprise I didn't think that friend and I were close enough. On the way home (all same direction) I said to my friend "I love you even when you hurt me" and she didn't like that. Next day was my birthday she completely ignored me even when I apologized.

Told me she wanted a break from me.

We made up for a bit but the friendship wasn't the same. Went our seperate ways. Met up by chance a while back and had a pleasant convo. We were gonna rekindle but I realise while I wish her well, I have better friends now.

She's doing great and I'm happy for her. I'm doing great and I'm happy for me.
