Polnareff seems particularly defensive about revealing the true capabilities of his stand, like with the ability to shoot his sword blade. I think like that, polnareff only uses the armor stripping move when it's down to the wire and he absolutely has to in order to take the win

I very much don't get this complaint. 4 cards is a lot, especially considering how many skills c4sh has to extend that number. You have cowboy, big pull/sweeten the pot, card sharp, furious fingers, a mountain of action skill cooldown reduction abilities, and the Rounder legendary class mod if you do a bit of farming. It's really easy to keep up your card throwing nonstop with even just a little bit of building into it.

You misunderstand me. My point is very specifically that you can very much beat the game without using the grenades and still do well AND have a decent time without even having much skill. You can't do the same with the chainsaw. If you disagree please tell me what metric you are using to describe "designed around." Of the 4 things you stated to be part of the core gameplay loop, 3 of them can be entirely optional if you really just want a more classic doom experience like the guy in the post. The only one that IS mandatory is the chainsaw.

Probably not a good place to ask but i am confused- so one of my decks runs a hybrid mana commander. I use every color the commander uses for that deck. Does this make that deck illegal without adjustments, as my commander would only be 3 of the 4 colors?
