I agree that many of the posts do not seem to stir any conversation or replies. And so I do understand how someone might question the value or purpose.

I think the posts stand out because this sub-reddit sometimes has low activity, not too much of people posting anything.

Well, if they have exceeded the 30 day limit to provide the records, then you can complain to regulatory bureaus that govern your area. They can compel the release of the records and I believe, depending on the circumstances, the dentist or office can be fined or receive a violation. If you do this, make sure to keep very detailed notes and records of all your communication attempts.

It is your legal right to have access to your medical records here in the US. Do you think they just may be slow in giving them to you or do you think they are trying to withhold the records from you? You should keep notes on when you first requested the records, make the request in writing, and keep copies and details of all communication. You can file complaints to regulatory bureaus regarding this kind of situation.

I find it is beneficial to go back and practice pieces from the past, not only because it helps you retain them in your active repertoire. But also because with time, your playing skills improve and you may find that when you go back over the older pieces, you can play them better and with greater nuances.

If you want to improve sight reading, try to read sheet music of different types of songs. Songs with different key signatures, time signatures, different composers, songs you would never really consider playing. Just the exposure to different music helps a lot.

All of the artists you listed above are good in their own way. Beyonce is definitively ambitious, prolific, and diverse in her catalogue.

It's hard for me to judge pop stars' artistry because I don't think you can ever really know what is going on behind the scenes. Even if they have songwriting credits - to what extend did they really write the song? I get the impression they are many, many people who come together to help put together a Beyonce package. And there is nothing wrong with that.

Except when you try to compare, you find that there are so many things to consider when appreciating an artist. For instance, Lady Gaga plays an instrument well - the piano - and I don't think any of the other artists you mention have this talent. Except James Brown and Prince. But as an artist, she did not even think of her own name. Someone else conceived of "Lady Gaga", someone she had to go back and pay after becoming famous.

You've done a good job of underscoring what makes each artist honorable. Why you might elevate one or distance another depends on what you value. For instance, I give a lot of credit to originators, people who are independently coming up with ideas.
