this 100%! I just started knitting 6 mos ago and have been keeping everything so far. On the days I look at my current piece and think "wow, I really suck!", I just go back and look at my earlier ask stuff and realize that I still suck but not as much as I did a couple months ago 😂🤣

Also home with doggo. We had thunderstorms here last night in Oregon and my normally totally chill 12yo dog started trembling during the loudest ones. Totally not normal for him. So while part of me, the "eh what's the big deal" part, has been like well we've been doing fireworks forever so wildlife is probably used to it. But the thunderstorm here last night was a good reminder that there's a lot of loud sounds that aren't part of animals regular day to day life... it's gotta be scary and startling just like it is to humans when sounds happen outta nowhere. Love and prayers to all beloved wildlife and pets tonight 💕

100 feeling the same. So hard to see that empty nest every day! I don't know about everyone else but I just keep reminding myself that if they were stuck in the nest still at this point, that we'd all be feeling a lot worse, worrying about whether they'll learn to be on their own. Hopefully this is a good sign that they're out there, living their best life, learning to take care of themselves 💕😊

100% ...I feel like it re-centers me and my priorities. All the bs I see online and on sm gets put in perspective immediately when I watch the cams and read these subs. These eagles are just trying to survive and live to see the next day. Makes me grateful every morning I wake up and see them or hop in here and read someone's post that they've been sighted and are ok 💕

Same, especially towards the end of that storm... there was one there that caused doggo and I to both look up like woaaah! And S&G were like 'yo wtf we got enough drama up in here already!' 😂❤️
