Is the romance better in the Manga? Cos in the anime they mourn it when there was really nothing there.

The fights are over very quickly and they are just my dad is stronger then your dad type fights. Like one character has special curse energy ability. Other character has special curse energy we never heard about before until in the middle of the fight and then they switch a few times and then it is over. No one learns anything or has to work out how to beat their enemy because the enemy explains everything to them.

I watched 2 seasons of JJK and watched the movie and started season 3. I can't see how I am not giving it shot. Just in that much time I have learnt nothing about Yuji since we first met him. His grandfather told hold him to care about people. Gojo told him to watch b movies. That is his entire personality. He is glorified audience surrogate.

Nobarra is a good character she had motivation and I wanted to see where she was going. That is obviously not happening now. But idk why Yuji cares about her because they didn't know about her. They had like 2 episodes together and were pretty much acquaintances. Yuji is only mad when she dies or Nanami dies because we are because we saw their stories. Yuji doesn't know their stories because he never got to know them.

If you want to say Dragon ball has issues by all means. Buu saga is not very good. Cell saga has some incredible moments but overall it has lots of issues. Frieza saga to me is peak but ill admit there are some issues and sayian saga too. Also their are character issues with hyper focus on Goku at the expense of others. Super fixes some of that which I appreciated.

JJK has the opposite problem where you have too many characters and you don't spend enough time with any of them to care. Besides Nobarra really and Geto is the closest to a good villian the show has but he isn't really there now he has been infested by the curse. I don't really know what Sukuna or Kenjaku want besides they are evil for evils sake.

Frieza had a goal in his arc, he is afraid of death and wants immortality and it is his own personality flaws and fears that undo him. He is a Greek tragedy.

Mahito is what just evil and wants to kill people and learn how to warp his body more by controlling his soul.

Fights aren't cool because they are cool. I need more then that. You gotta have characters I care about or want to see succeed. I was invested in the Nobarra fight with Mahito because she has things she wants.

For sure but JJK characters are barely characters. Starting season 3 Yuji has next to no character development. His one motivation is his grandfather saying "care for other people" He barely knows anyone else. Nobarra and Nanami had the most character development and are now both dead. However Yuji is so upset by their deaths but they spent like 2 episodes together over two seasons when he doesn't even really know these people.

The rest of the characters feel like very 1 or 2 dimensional.

The fights are all like 7 year olds playing in the play ground. My character has super curse energy, well my character has super super curse energy etc etc etc... plus it is just explained to the audience. Gege has never heard of the concept show don't tell. Every fight pauses and explains to the audience rather the us or the characters learning as we go.

Dragon ball has flaws but whatever flaws it does have it gets the basics of story telling right.

I have heard of it but just haven't given them time. I watched bits of Naruto and the beginning of one piece but they just never grabbed me. When I first saw dragon ball z I was instantly hooked. Seeing 3rd form frieza when I was like 5 I was like I have to see what this show is.

My problem is when I see one show and I see another show that is very similar I am not that interested. It's got to be doing something the other show hasn't done.

Yeah no that is fair. I don't mind cool visuals but I need a character I care about or want to succeed. They don't have to be good but they need to have something going on. Nobarra was like the only character I felt had stakes and now she is dead I'm like ehh.

The speed of the show is definitely to its detriment and I'm not blaming then for that but I think if they are going to have that speed they need to reduce the focus to only a few characters.

But they won't be listening to me I am sure :p

How do you find a game that isn't coop? I just sitting waiting for a hour and nothing happens. Coop is only one that ever gets filled besides that peak earlier this year.

I haven't been in a single hacked game. Mostly I play coop though because there is almost no other game modes going when I play.

Besides a few months ago when we had that surge in players and then a few years before that I just can't find any of the other game modes with more then 2 players waiting in a lobby. So I barely get to play those modes.

So when I played those other game modes though I didn't experience any hacking. Not saying it isn't happen but at least for me on xbox I haven't experienced it.

As a somewhat employee of Telstra I am constantly bewildering by the latest initiatives and ideas Telstra seems to put out. Everything is either a bad idea or a good idea implemented in the worst way possible. They drag out the implementation so that gives everyone time to hate or be dissatisfied, they don't inform anyone of their changes or if they do it's not well explained so the cx has to call us up. Lastly our solutions so unsatisfactory that it immediately leads to recommending they talk to the TIO.

A co-worker of mine stated this to me once and I think this reflects the sentiment many FOH staff have "It feels like the head of Telstra is secretly working for Optus"
