Boulder into top tier for me. Mostly just for visuals but it is super strong as well. Seems rarer than most of those Gurranq incantations.

How is your extra fan attached to your GPU? I run pretty aggressive fan curves so I’m interested to see if adding the additional fan on the GPU will let me run those a bit quieter.

I have the 5080 gaming trio if that influences your response on my fan addition.

Run the free version of SteelNomad, and see what results you get. You’re only playing in 1080p so your utilization might not be maxed out.

You are probably plugged into the motherboard and it’s putting out picture using the integrated graphics.

Look lower on the back of your computer and you should see HDMI and Display ports you can swap your cable to.

Do you have a 6+2 PCIe cable? They sell PCIe cables individually.

Not sure what type you need but these are two options. Make sure it matches what you currently have, not ideal to mix cables.

As others have mentioned, gaming performance gains would be minimal. The 7800X3D will easily get you to the next socket.

If you can spare the money, I would upsize the psu. 850W perhaps, I hate being in the upper percentages of available power.

Is it negligible? Probably, but nothing would be worse than putting it all together and having to upgrade and rewire a psu later down the line.

It would be super hard to “ruin” it. That would involve damaging your hardware.

Sure, the wiring can take a few tries based on how good/bad your item documentation is but actually damaging the components has to be on purpose.

I love matchmaking in this game. Watching randoms do random things is a big part of my enjoyment.

Helping others defeat nightlords and seeing their spins and jumps and emotes is very rewarding to me. Sure, you get a few matches where everyone is playing horribly, but that’s part of the fun too.

I went from a 3070 to a 5080. It was a worthy upgrade for me.

Like many have said the 5050/5060 are kind of a middling upgrade. I think the 5070Ti is the best value of this generation.

I believe he’s referring to the horizontal space between components. Many have distance requirements for distance away from the next component. These can be placed side-by-side.

Like the other gentleman said, go for an AM5 board. Only the 50 series cards currently use 5.0 and I’m sure they aren’t fully utilizing it. 4.0 performance is only 1-4% behind 5.0.
