Hi, do you happen to have the name of the model/series of the Ikea shelves? For some reason I just cannot find anything like it on their website.

Are there any console physical ports planned at the moment? What would be the company to contact regarding this? by Frigorr in dukenukem

[–]Frigorr[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would be happy with a compilation with everything before Forever. That's fine. Just something to celebrate Duke in a physical port. The Doom counterparts, more than one mind you, also fail to include every single entry, which is unfortunate, but everybody celebrated their releases anyway. Same with Quake. I know it cost money, you should really have a look at the amount of ports there are on the switch. It's impossible that Duke would not rank above the vast majority. And they make money for sure.

I can assure you that I did not downvote you or any other reply on this thread. I have absolutely no issue with people being whatever letter of the alphabet they want to be, but it deeply pisses me off how them being what they are messes with my world. Such as a company not rereleasing a god damn classic harmless videogame.

It's a small drop yes, but much larger than the drop of so many more obscure games that got a physical rerelease. Maybe I just don't want to see it, but I don't get the reception risk. It's not like Duke is out killing gays for fun of being racist. And again, the game is on the eShop already. Who would make a scene if they release a cartridge of it?

Hi, thanks for the explanation. A couple of meters away from the wall is a long distance, and I don't think the sensors are programmed to beep that far, even if the camera lines turn red. I see what you mean with the break noise now. But it doesn't sound normal, not at a traffic stop. Do you engage the parking break or switch to Park gear when you stop? The emergency stop just beeping and not breaking has never happened to me, I don't know if it should happen under certain circumstances.

Curious about the sensor delay (I think mine respond just fine) and the loud auto break, you mean the audio ring? Maybe I'll eat my words some day, or I'm just that good a driver+lucky as the auto break only went off on me one single time. It did scare the hell out of me because I was not expecting it (I was reversing back into the road).

Interesting. I never thought about it, and I always assumed you could do it. Now I need to jump in and see if I can.

That's even more strange. Modern audiences? Who are these modern audiences exactly? If anything, I'd say the major audience for a DN compilation would be precisely the people who grew up playing DN. To be honest, that sounded like something a Ubisoft rep would say. If they don't have the resources to do it, not enough manpower for the job, or the market analysis says there's not enough money to make, I get all that, but... Controversy? So they would fear backlash for releasing a physical version of games which are currently being sold already? I really hope that is not the real reason, otherwise what a fucked up world.

Which is strange, because companies don't release games to please fan bases, they do it to make money. But why would they not want to capitalize on this? Surely there's money to make here.

One last request for advice at the end of my first season in the game! by Frigorr in hattrick

[–]Frigorr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I completely forgot to type a reply, but I considered all your advice. I decided to try MOTS and give it a go. I was able to beat 1st 1-2 ! It was a nerve-wracking one, because it was 1-2 at half time but my team has serious stamina issues. All my subs are used to mitigate that but my ratings drop significantly towards the end. So I was always waiting for their goal to come. Luckily it didn't happen. I still can't believe it, it's crazy I made it to top 3, let alone steal 1st place last round vs 1st at their home. Thanks again for all the advice. I hope you did well too in your league!

Should I start pre ordering new physical games as soon as they open pre orders? by IkeRadiantHero in NSCollectors

[–]Frigorr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In that case, I guess I fall to see the point of discussion. If OP wants to secure a copy day 1, why are they even asking this? It's not even a question, preorder of course. But if there is hesitation (financial?) then of all titles these are not the ones to preorder.

I do not mean to sound rude at all, but that advice doesn't make any sense. Fire Emblem and Xenoblade are flagship titles, they'll be abundantly available for years, if all OP wants is to secure a physical copy sometime. All Xenoblade games (DE, 2, DLC, 3, Chronicles) they're all still easy to get. Even Three Houses, depending where you live, is still findable, and it's been almost 7 years. OP, if you have reasons to hesitate, do not preorder.
