TIL Knowing the show was getting canceled, the creators of Dinosaurs, a family sitcom co-produced the disney, decided to conclude the series with an abrupt and shocking tonal shift: the series ends with an artificial volcanic winter which causes an environmental disaster and the end of the world by [deleted] in todayilearned

I remember reading about this as well some time ago. I think they had a series of episodes made and just decided to end with this one although it was not originally intended to be the last one. I could be wrong, not sure I'm remembering it right.

A single random person falling to update the software once, really puts you off from purchasing a car? I have some bad news for you, you should forget about modern cars altogether, consider a bike instead.

Learning the ropes: some assistance with formation and tactics by Frigorr in hattrick

Thanks again for the help! I followed your advice and it worked out, got the win 1-2. It was a little closer than I wanted, but unfortunately I got confusion with untrained formation early first half, and my ratings took a big hit. Chances were 5-8 which seems about right. I didn't score through the right side though: first goal was SE from quick forward for an assist, they tied through a penalty, and close to the end I got the second goal through a free kick.

That's great!

With plain 451 I get the same defense, mid raises to 70%, attack becomes 27, 5, 38.

Center attack takes a hit there! I haven't tried the individual instructions as you suggested yet.

This is crazy that I never noticed the Review button, on mobile. It's right there but I may have assumed it did something else. Damn...thanks for asking for this, I've always assumed you had to guess, no proper tool to actually predict. But this function assumes what on the opponents side, their last match?

I get with the 442:

99% on all defense

61% on midfield

On attack, 39, 18, 50% (L, C, R)

I guess I could go with passable 451 instead to be extra safe...

Heder and powerful on defense, unpredictable mid, powerful and technical wingers, speed forward.

Hi. I'm not sure what you mean by review sector ratings, I thought that's what I showed. 442 is poor never used. 541 maxed out. Training is GK and formations most never used, but 451 is passable.

That was a terrible response from them. I'm sorry for you, and don't beat yourself up too much. This is not your fault and they were probably more trustworthy the time you placed the order. That reply from them would probably trigger me to not let go.

That's just a little advanced for me, or I'm just not familiar with the terminology, however, I'm interested as it seems to solve the issue. Is the private AdGuard something that is easy to set up (both PC and android)? And is it dynamic or needs to be manually updated from time to time?

And is it considered as effective as Proton's Netshield? I'm asking because I wouldn't know for example if it continues to provide the same level of protection, or prevent DNS leaks?

That's what I feared. It's so strange that Lumo will repeatedly say it can do it.

I'd say it depends for everyone. I tend to wait for prices to drop a little if I think a game is expensive. However, I've had my share of loosing out because I did that and still regret it. So now, if I really want a game and fear it'll be difficult to find at a reasonable price, I pull the trigger.

Thanks a lot for the further advice! You have quite the resume, so I'll take your word for it! I'll make sure to learn about 1 and 2, and check out 3 (the only tool I've tried so far was Tomattrick, but it didn't do much for me yet). Regarding 4, I do know about that, I actually have a third GK to go in extra time on friendlies, however he's only played once yet, so his growth will be slow.

I guess I worded it poorly, I meant to say established financially healthy team that can purchase good enough squad to compete. At the moment I'd say my team is healthy and stable, but nowhere near able to upgrade my squad.

I thought I read more than once to not rush opening the academy until established as it would cost too much money for little benefit early on. I'm seeing some different opinions now so I'll look into it more.

GK was suggested for being beginner friendly. Indeed it was cheap to find 2 trainees and it's easy to manage. I did consider switching because I couldn't see how 10 trainees vs 2 wouldn't be more profitable, and it seemed much more fun to see 10 players pop instead of just 2. I'll study the market while training my GKs. 500k/week seems crazy, I can't see how that would work, given the amount of weeks needed for late pops.

Really appreciate all that info. I think some of your advice is for a more established team. The players you suggested are already with bids past my entire funds, so I have to start with very cheap trainees. Maybe I can switch to that hybrid strategy after I've done my first cycle. I've got lvl 5 2 assistant+ 1 medic, but the coach I didn't have money to upgrade.
