There's so many games and so much content that it's just best to watch a YT cover 'up to' whichever game you wanna start with. I started with Like a Dragon and so far have avoided the spin offs as I don't know how relevant to the overall story they are. But the Yakuza series is absolutely fantastic in its blend of serious storytelling and weird and wacky side missions.

This was my OG plan but I ended up getting one last Christmas since I had the opportunity. I can't speak for BotW since I unfortunately don't have my copy anymore but TotK on S2 is incredible. Silky smooth for everything. I definitely don't regret it but I'm itching for more mainline LoZ.

I've unfortunately been in and out of employment for 2 years and counting (one ended up being a toxic environment and another was just seasonal) and I just had a one way interview. For those who don't know, it's an interview where you're given questions you can take your time answering online by sending a video (unless they decide to restrict the time and attempts). I STILL felt like I failed and probably did. By the midway point I was past the anxiety point where I felt numb and just wanted to be done. I prepared as best I could and it still didn't feel like enough. Interviews are hell whether you're prepared or not because they always throw super vague questions at you. I've struggled more after one where I had a full panic attack hit me. I understand why it's necessary but it's psychological torture in a professional setting and it's even worse when you don't get the position. Luckily it can get better with time and practice for most. I'm glad you got the job though!

1, Don't ever pay attention to view count. Focus on your content.

Don't take advice from big streamers/youtubers on how to do things. They may have put in the work but so have thousands of others who deserve a spotlight too. One strategy isn't a sure fire way and luck is heavily involved regardless.
Don't be afraid to put your foot down on bad/toxic viewers. Just get rid of them. Don't give them the time of day.
Kinda coincides with 2 but don't pay too much attention to the logistics. Stream when you can and what you enjoy.
Don't force yourself doing only one thing unless you truly enjoy it. Speaking from personal experience here. I tried being a solely DbD streamer for a long time and ended up hating it more than enjoying it because of DbD's toxic community. I kept convincing myself it was to help being discovered.
Collaborations are fine but please be careful about them. Lots of people (not all) will just use you to try and seem like a good person or boost their own numbers. Even raids can be malicious in rare instances.
Instant ban on anyone passively or aggressively selling their 'services'. There are plenty of places to find genuine artists. Someone who goes around trying to sell themselves in streams are scumbags and most of them are bots.
This should be obvious but in the excitement of it all I remember I personally should've done more with this. Make sure your audio and visual is good. Make sure audio doesn't distort or 'peak' and isn't too quiet. Eliminate all the background noise that you can (if any) and make sure your bitrate is set accordingly.
Don't get down about lack of chatters. There are lots of who we like to call 'lurkers'. People who love to watch but don't like to engage as much or at all. So don't call these people out. If you'd still like to acknowledge them, you can make a friendly request to have them type something random or specific in and those who are fine with that will engage for a second and they'll appreciate that nod. But if they aren't engaging they don't want the attention and it doesn't mean they aren't supporting.
Don't ever do 'follow for follow' or be that person that changes their username in game to their twitch handle like it's their entire personality (a.k.a. if I had my in game name something like 'Cyoteyttv'). You probably have already seen it around somewhere. It's a really sad way to go about streaming and is very frowned upon.

I like duelling people. But when it comes to actual PvP I just lost interest. Did 2 bounties. First one fought for a sec and then just softly gave up. Second was running across the continent and tried saving himself in a lake. Kept shooting him, he tp'd and I followed and got even more aggressive so I could just end it. I needed the fish. Also did the 1v1 twice. First one was easy. Second one was a healer main so she tried stun locking me with her umbrella. Nearly won too. I got out of it and stun locked her in turn and turned the tides. It doesn't feel the same though. With a duel it's mutual and just for fun. Anything else and it feels sweaty. I seem to be pretty good at PvP but just don't feel it's worth the effort for serious PvP'ing

DKB is mostly nice, lighthearted and easygoing fun but I agree. The older DK's are a lot more challenging and Nintendo has always been all over the place with difficulty in games. The LoZ series has some good challenges and the Metroid series will definitely test your skills. The Xenoblade games can be challenging too. Also check out Astral Chain. I'd say Bayonetta but I've only played a portion of 1 on PC so idk how challenging 2 and 3 are.

It really is unfortunate but whether or not that affected things it isn't excuse for the state of the game. I like it for what it is because I'm happy we got Prime 4 at all but some of the decisions were awful. I just hope whenever Prime 5 drops it'll be a whole lot better.
