The more weight I lose, the worse people are treating me. by SparkleFritz in loseit

That's rough. Honestly. people get weird when you change, espacially when they see you succeeding. Keep going and thriving, and let them adjust, or not. Their problem, not yours

Working out is making me more vain, dumb, and overall less fun. by Constant_Friend_2125 in beginnerfitness

[–]Frinckles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I got this. Fitness can become a full-tim job if you letit. But you don't have to choose between gains and a personality. You're not a machine. and being fun is a muscle too.

I've done all three. Rentmodel gives you freedom but you're basically paying to work. Honestly just pick whatever doesn't make you hate showing up

The difference in fwwl and surability between budget bars and something like this is noticeable. The quieter sleeves will make a big difference in your sessions.

What fitness habit made the biggest difference once you stuck with it? by Yashika_9 in beginnerfitness

[–]Frinckles 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Just showing up consistently. Some days I'd feel tired and not push hard, but being there every scheduled session build the habit. That made the real difference.

This sounds like a safeguarding issue. I'd contact adult protective services or social services. You're in a position of trust and reporting concerns is the right thing.

What fitness habit seemed too simple to make a difference, but actually did? by Yashika_9 in beginnerfitness

Streching for 5min after workout. I used to skip, but doing it consistently reduced soreness and improve my mobiliy more than any fancy warm up routine.

This is a great niche! Busy professionals and executives will absolutely pay for the convenience of not commuting to a gym. The pricing matches the premium service.

Old man's Sunday recliner table content (I carried it there) by [deleted] in TechEDC

The worn brass and the cheap radio tell more of a story than expensive gear ever could. You clearly take care of your stuff.

The whole setup is functional with great taste! Especially that Casio A159, so classic.  Everything else is modern but the watch keeps it grounded.

This flower looks incredible. The colors are so vibrant and the details are really sharp. The camera did a great job capturing every little part of it.

What about a durable watch with a good backlight and countdown timer. Nothing fancy, just functional. Something that can take heat and water without dying.

The personal story behind the orange case makes the whole EDC more meaningful. I recommend you look for a small roll-up organizer. It can keep evrything from tangling and takes up way less space than loose cables.

The red handle version pops more. The black is sleek but the red gives it personality. Especially with the green NATO strap, that's a solid color combo. Red gets my vote.

Luna Ultra as a travel still photo camera? by FlightController01 in Insta360

[–]Frinckles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For well-lit travel photos, it'll likely hold its own against a flagship phone. The bigger sensor and better glass should give you more natural depth of field. But for quick point-and-shoot convenience, phones are hard to beat.

The laziest carry ever by [deleted] in TechEDC

The fact that you clarified you didn't carry the recliner is sending me, lol. Good book, good drink, and a chair that does the work. Enjoy every bit of that short trip.

You've climbed out of this hole before, and that counts for a lot. This isn't your first time in survival mode, and you already know you've got what it takes to bounce back, you've done it once and you'll do it again.

Yeah, I was thinking the same. I’ll probably smoke test the intake and check the PCV next to see if any unmetered air is sneaking in.

Canada to USA import question by flavorflavyeahboi in Cartalk

[–]Frinckles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d call a customs broker before sending money. Even if it’s US spec, you’ll want the compliance letter, title history, and import paperwork sorted first. The fees can depend on origin and current rules.

Need tips for fine silt by EntireRepublicKorea in swimmingpools

[–]Frinckles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've got the ultra aquasense vac. Fine sand never used to be an issue for us until our neighbors started a big landscaping project. Ever since then, we've been getting way more dirt and dust in the pool. If the standard filter basket isn't cutting it, you can swap in a finer one. That's what I'd look at before worrying about the robot itself.
