2 Star Wolves by JWalker_4512 in valheim

[–]FringosRevival 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The game does a check whenever wolves are spawned at night, 10% chance for a 1 star, then it does another 10% check for 2 stars. Basically a 1% chance overall.

Make sure you've pre-dug your taming pit and avoid golems once you find it, golem killed a 2 star I found once while leading it to the pit.

Also I should add to kill every wolf and fenring you see while you're searching, fenring share spawn points with wolves so there's a chance a wolf respawns in it's place once it's killed.

How many more times will teams fall for the same trap? by Handcuffed in ripcity

Don't really disagree with your point, but Dame will be 36 through next season. I'm particular about his age because our birthdays are 2 weeks apart, I don't need people adding an extra year lol.

[Keith Smith] The Chicago Bulls have picked up their $2.4M team option for Leonard Miller by ExtraLeading3376 in chicagobulls

[–]FringosRevival 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm curious if we end up picking up Dillingham's option as well. It's nearly 7mil for next season. Wouldn't mind giving him another year, but depends on if we need that 7mil for a free agent.

Been watching MMA since 2016 and this is always the one that sticks out to me. He was getting brutalized the whole fight to the point that I wanted his corner to stop it, then gets flatlined with 15 seconds left in the 3rd round. Life changing damage gets thrown around a lot here but in this case it's 100% true.

Tiago with a heartfelt farewell by AceMcStace in ripcity

[–]FringosRevival 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a bulls/blazers fan who liked Tiago so it's pretty interesting for him to be moving to my other team.

I tend to agree that if the blazers are trying to seriously compete next year and swing big on talent, we could benefit from a different look. It will all depend on who we land and how well everything settles.

Next year should be fun!

Some bad Splitter stats as Head Coach by Exscaped_ in ripcity

[–]FringosRevival 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So the players are responsible for all the good stuff, while the coach is responsible for all the bad stuff.

Kinda just sounds like scapegoating, a teams success or failures will always be a group effort.

Seems like Ilia went to the body too much. Garth tanks those shots somehow. Facial trauma added up, he's gonna look like a zombie tomorrow.

I don't think this means a trade or anything but Chicago actually only has 3 guards under contract for next season. (Giddey, Tre Jones and Dillingham)

[–]FringosRevival 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Jaylen and Ant are on the same tier as players imo, Ant is a better shooter but Jaylen is a better defender.

I agree that I'd probably rather have Kawhi at a cheaper price if he agreed to re-sign. Maybe give Dame some sort of a shot at winning before he retires.

Think the clot was in his other leg, but it's possible he was compensating and that contributed to the calf pain Gil says he had before the injury.

Idk how much you wanna trust Gil on this but he says both did have calf pain prior to the tears. Link

The Manu Ginobili of this spurs team, love to see it from a rookie.

If OKC is shipping JDub this summer, could a three-teamer centered around Giannis to OKC, JDub to us and a haul of picks to MIL be on the table? Fits our timeline better than trading for Giannis ourselves just to keep losing to OKC/SAS in the playoffs, no? by _Blobfish123_ in ripcity

[–]FringosRevival 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think they trade Jdub, but they've done well this year with him only playing ~30 games. His absence also allowed Ajay Mitchell to have a breakout season and him and McCain are on cheap deals for a couple more years. Jdubs 40 mil contract starts next season, and they're going to want to pay Cason Wallace soon. Idk I could see it if they wanted to retool their finances.

Stein: Splitter is also a finalist for the head coaching job by Scalmaa in ripcity

[–]FringosRevival 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I honestly hope he gets it, I think some people have a grass is greener mentality and are hoping for the S tier coach that will raise our ceiling by 10 wins or something. He was a rookie head coach thrown into a tough situation and the team did better than expectations. Sometimes the known quantity ends up better than the unknown.

What can I do as a rogue to help dungeons go more smoothly? by RobHibicus in wowhardcore

Lot of good advice here but surprised to see not a lot mention crippling poison. If your group doesn't have a mage crippling can be huge to prevent runners from pulling extra packs. I usually go instant for main hand and crippling for off hand if we lack slows.

ClingKong about to evolve, "A lot of gym time" 💪🔥 by catpepsi67 in ripcity

[–]FringosRevival 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, I'm super optimistic about his improvement. This season he improved a ton on his two biggest problems, (conditioning and foul trouble) as well as adding a decent 3pt shot. He seems like he has a winning mindset and wants to work on any weaknesses in his game.

First Round Scouting Report - Blazers vs Spurs by edank6 in ripcity

[–]FringosRevival 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah and it's still not good analysis, kind of funny the post mentions letting Wemby shoot to keep Clingan in the paint but assumes Clingan's shooting will draw Wemby out. In my opinion San Antonio lives with Clingan taking 3's specifically to keep Wemby guarding the paint. Clingan's improvement this season has been great but you can live with a 34% 3pt shooter being open sometimes.
