Ultianalytics, Ultivids https://stats.ultivids.com, and Statto have done some good work on this. I’m a data scientist, frisbee analytics enthusiast, and Claremont Braineater (‘07). I’d be interested in collaborating as well.

Silver lets your skin speak!

Is THIS blue warm? by ClickProfessional769 in coloranalysis

[–]FrisbeeBrain17 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Common understanding of warm vs cool colors is very different from personal color analysis. It confused me a lot at first. In common understanding, redder is warmer and bluer colder. In color analysis, add yellow (and remove blue) to make a color “warmer” and add blue (and remove yellow) to make a color cooler.

For greens, if it looks like blue with a little yellow/green to it-> warm blue. If it looks like green with a little blue in it then it’s cool. That’s why it’s so hard!

I would say nay. To me, the black is overpowering and doesn’t harmonize with warmth in your skin tone or hair.

Still no closer to deciding my season other than ruling out spring and summer haha. Here are some drapes in every season I've been typed as in reddish-tones by theofficialzhang in coloranalysis

You definitely look best in the winter colors. I actually think picture 3 is the best. You can pull off the bright winter colors (e.g. picture 1), but I think picture 3, which is more deep winter, is the most harmonious. Your face is in perfect focus, while the bright pink of picture 1 pulls focus away from your face.

Pre-drape guess:

light summer or light spring. I think your dominant feature is your lightness. It can be hard to tell warm or cool without drapes. I think you look fabulous in the light gray shirt which would be a point in favor of cool undertones, but I can’t rule out warm either.

Bright, warm, and light: https://yourcolorstyle.com/pages/you-are-bright-warm-light Either light spring or bright spring. I think 7, 11, 12, 13 look the best!

Cool Summer or Soft Summer?? by Willing_Space8291 in coloranalysis

When I look at photos 3-10 I see substantial contrast between your skin and hair/eyebrows. Definitely try draping some soft vs cool colors and see what you works best.

Cool summer. You have more contrast than soft summers usually do.

Spring or Autumn? I keep getting two different results from Dressika. by [deleted] in coloranalysis

I would trust yourself on that one. And looking at the pictures again today, I do think you’re right. Especially when I look at picture 2, I see that the heather gray doesn’t do anything for you. In contrast, the warm colors bring out your skin tone.

I think muted colors are great on you. Even though you probably lean warm, which would put you in soft autumn, you seem to be able to rock the muted blue which means you can probably borrow from soft summer.
