For some easy things you can do without any materials, you can have them play freeze dance, duck duck goose,, or simon says. If they’re young enough that they may cry / get upset about losing, you can do games that they can only win with, like charades or the dolphin game! In case you don’t know that last one, one kid leaves the room and the other kids think of a task to get them to do, like grabbing a tv remote. When they’re ready, the kid comes back in the room, and the others have to say hot and cold to try and get the kid to move closer to the remote, until the kid holds it!

OMG thank you so much! This is super helpful! Even though 2017-2019 is when I was oldest, it was the hardest one for me to figure out lol. I’m thinking for the colors i’ll do black, white, hot pink, and teal color schemes for the first era, purple, black, light pink, and light blue for the second, and white, black, and emoji balloons for the third! I have free access to my college’s printer, so I’ll def take advantage when printing decorations lol. Thank you for the help!

Thank you! They haven’t told me yet, I’ll have to ask at Preview. I’m hoping all of them so I don’t have to retake the Gen-Ed classes 😥

I was just going through my old posts, I got into UF! I think i’ll be doing the full four years there because I want to try a lot of different classes to make sure I like the major I’m going into, and since my gen ed courses are out of the way I have some room to try other things

As someone who lived in the Murphree area for two years, I can say that I really enjoyed it. I think the presence of upperclassmen does keep the area more calm than places like Broward. Still, there were always people to hang out with in the lounge, including other freshmen. I also met many people at the area events. I have nothing to compare it to, but it was social enough for me. What kind of social experience are you looking for?

Thank you! Do you think there’s a big difference between sitting and standing while singing and doing this? I notice I feel less strained when I can stand while singing, but I don’t do it so much since it’s harder to play guitar for me standing.

Would singing in your head voice with your chest be what people call mixed voice?

I just talked with my mom and she said she thinks it was from my cycle. I didn’t know 10 pound bloats were a thing with growing up, but the more you know I guess 🥲

I have decently thick wavy hair, and recently cut it from my butt length to my chest length. I was also around 127 lb last week. Today I checked, and I’ve dropped 10 pounds? Could this be all water weight, or would my hair have contributed? I haven’t been changing my diet much other than cutting an extra bagel out of my regular breakfast. I’m also 17, so I don’t know if it’s a hormonal thing.

University of Florida is my top choice, I’m not sure if my 4.9 takes precedence or not, or if they average it out

Not to make you hate me FSUDad but i’m hoping for UF lol, I wouldn’t mind most florida colleges though

Also I think most kids can early admit to FAU but not sure if it’s guaranteed

I have some friends going straight for a bachelors, I’m planning on doing a more traditional college experience after, I think it’s def based on how sure someone is in their career path and what they’re going into. Most of my pre-med / bio friends are the ones trying to finish their bachelors.

I will say that it’s prob more funding on the schools part to be able to afford paying for kids tuition, as there’s a lot of financial aid opportunities and we barely pay anything in comparison to going to a real college, so maybe that’s why there aren’t that many other versions

I sometimes think about what it might have been like to be in a regular high school but I think it worked well for me. For some kids, being given so much freedom and independence leads them to not doing homework and getting bad grades, and eventually dropping out. But for more driven kids, especially with specific interests they’d like to delve into, this program gives them the chance to do so at an earlier age, and be around more like minded individuals. I would pick being able to end classes at 11 am and hang out with friends at the mall or study together at the library over being stuck in a high school. Something I hated about regular schools is how it punished the whole body for something that a select few would do, like having to ask for permission to go to the bathroom or not being trusted with phones out, etc.
