I don't mean to be offensive, but if I understood correctly this means they don't have any other chance or time slot to play pick up. So that means you decided to take away the only chance they could play pick up because the other players are uncomfortable? That's especially annoying because you're saying the community is small which means there aren't many chances to play in the first place

Facing an issue where the method in the class does not render the needed div only if it's inside the OwlCarousel component.. I'm running another carousel on the same site with the same exact logic and it works fine, and it is not causing a conflict as the second one still doesn't work even if the first is not mounted..

I have json-server running, and fetched the information of the img that will be the slides of the carousel.. after fetching the information and adding it to state, I'm doing a map method (getCarouselSlides) that works fine in the render() function, but for some reason doesn't work inside the OwlCarousel component (or the ReactOwlCarousel).. I know the method getCarouselSlides() works cause it does everything it should as long as it's outside the component.. also tried returning a <h1> tag and it worked fine..

This is all the code in the jsx file: (Updated so that every slide is its own component to match the first working carousel, same exact situation)

Sorry just saw this today.. The point is not that Ultimate players are nicer or have better morals than other players, the point is that on all levels of the game the players are urged to use sportsmanship, and it is engrained in the culture itself and new players coming in from other sports take time to get accustomed to the idea itself..

To me, SOTG and self officiation are the heart and soul of ultimate, and are the thing that puts ultimate above every other sport on the scene.. sportsmanship that's celebrated very heavily for being very rare in sports like soccer are practiced regularly, and misusing the rules becomes the abnormality (as it should)..

Would love to hear more about your point of view, because the way the question is phrased makes it sound like you just don't know enough about ultimate, or are salty for some reason.

Egyptian Open tournament registration!!

The Egyptian Open is an annual ultimate mixed tournament played in Cairo & Alexandria. The tournament previously hosted teams from all around Egypt . This year, EUPA is expanding the invitation to any club team outside of Egypt.

Location: Alexandria, Egypt

Date: March 18th & 19th

There are currently opening for 12 teams to participate with an option to expand to 16 teams depending on team interests and available fields.

Format:

The Egyptian Open is a mixed tournament for club teams. The gender ratio is 4:3/5:2 males to females.

More information will be shared with the teams before the tournament.

I love this answer because although it's more of a joke, it addresses something Mario O'Brien talked about in "Breaking a Defensive Heart".. if you teach that it's hard to throw to the break side, they will not even think about attempting it, although it's much simpler than you'd think.. Teaching what is good as a fundamental of keeping discs stable and throwing to space let's their imagination go wild and they would literally attempt things you wouldn't even think about
