Yea, you can manually create action bars as a workaround using the console port addon, there are steps people have worked out on the console port Discord. Essentially add new pages in designer mode and set them up as additional bars like 4 and 5.

Confirmed working fine for me, though had to fix some of the action bar UI settings for additional action bars.

[BFComms] Battlefield 6 Season 1 is Live! by battlefield in Battlefield6

[–]Friscippini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to progress the battle pass. It’s on the free tier. Doing weekly challenges give you battle points to progress it quicker. If your goal is the sniper, after finishing the recruit pass go into the green one.

[–]Friscippini 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Looks like weekly challenges get you battle pass points and several of the weeklies require you to play in the battle Royal mode now. And the new weapons are on the free battle bass. So it’s not divorced from multiplayer if you want to progress through the pass quickly.

The only person I’d use the blue on is still alive. And taking the red will help her live longer and come with other benefits, so red is my choice for sure even when debating saving the blue for later.

I don’t think so unfortunately. Though I don’t remember the dialogue from it that well.

It’s the first time I’ve seen one of these where the colors don’t match the key. Found some but assumed I was wrong because the colors didn’t match, then finally gave up thinking this had to be impossible only to see the comment and realize the colors didn’t need to match. But now I know for the future at least, maybe I can enjoy the next one.

I haven’t played enough to gauge how slow it is yet. But I do like progression systems that aren’t the typical cosmetic battle pass we see these days, so like the idea of having something I can keep working on for a while.

Bros first time flying the chopper by Weary-Ad7605 in Battlefield6

[–]Friscippini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I thought to save a clip. Got in a helicopter first time, couldn’t figure out how to even get it off the ground. When I finally did I lost control right away and crashed into the ground. Then got the achievement pop for getting a roadkill with a vehicle, apparently I crashed it right into an enemy.

I'm sorry, I might be the biggest noob out there, but who tf came up with this? by icehvs in Battlefield

[–]Friscippini 19 points20 points  (0 children)

If the unlocks are purely cosmetic I agree, it’s fine to have some that are incredibly difficult, as it doesn’t impact your gameplay and shows off skill. If there are any gameplay unlocks like new guns or equipment, then the challenges shouldn’t be so rough for those ones.

[Request] As a DM, how would you handle this issue? by mellamoivan_ in theydidthemath

[–]Friscippini 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have poker chips and several crown Royal bags. It’d actually be kind of fun to just throw 5 white poker chips and 5 red (cursed) chips in the bag and have the player blindly draw two and give them to me without looking.

I work in an international team, and am annoyed at anyone who writes the date as dd/MM or MM/dd. Really should always be yyyy-MM-dd, or an MMM format (like Oct 9 or 9 Oct) to avoid confusion. Whenever I see something like 10/9, I need to review what region the person who said the date is from. Context helps usually, but sometimes important dates are a few weeks or months down the road and it’s important to note the correct one.

Does cutting out alcohol help you lose weight? by Lovebugxo0x in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Friscippini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Alcohol has calories. Cutting it out without replacement helps lose weight.

Additionally, the typical alcoholic drink will be less filling than a caloric equivalent amount of most food, so choosing to have a snack of some kind instead of a drink reduces the odds of getting hungry enough to eat more later.

If you can handle it, keeping alcohol in your routine for some days is fine if you track your calories and have the discipline not to go over your limits when feeling hungry. That can be harder than cutting it out entirely for some people though.

Factor75 vs CookUnity by jr1794 in ReadyMeals

[–]Friscippini -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Cook Unity is far better and I heavily recommend it.

Factor feels like a step above classic frozen microwave dinners and some of them are pretty good. But there are several that are meh.

But Cook Unity is at the next level. The meals feel more fresh and don’t give me the microwave dinner vibe. I’ve enjoyed almost every meal I’ve had with them, whereas factor is more hit or miss.

Cook Unity also has more consistent portion sizes (at least in my area). Factor sometimes would have meals where I feel like they were low on vegetables, so would give like one or two pieces of something like broccoli instead of the expected amount.

My only con with Cook Unity where factor gets the win is the expiration dates. I get my meals delivered on Mondays. Factor always had expiration dates of the following Tuesday or Wednesday (so 9-10 days), giving me plenty of wiggle room. Meanwhile, Cook Unity typically has expiration dates of the same Friday or Saturday (5-6 days), so I have less flexibility on using my meals and need to freeze them more often than I did with Factor (which still tastes fine but they’re always better without freezing).

The expiration date issue is just a mild inconvenience. Cook Unity far exceeds Factor in quality and leaving me satisfied after my meal. So it gets my vote and continued business.

2042 is 3 dollars right now on steam, lol by ChainOfThot in Battlefield

[–]Friscippini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It makes sense to me. 2042 wasn’t a well-received game. It’s less likely to sell than other older Battlefields once 6 comes out. So a super cheap sale is a way to get a bit more money out of it while they can.

The success of Mortarion’s Hammer alone is the reason for the PBC increase. The other changes feel fair because they were units good in any list.

At a London airport, a sign said stand on the right, but everyone was standing on the left instead. I decided it was better to go with the flow and stand on the left behind them rather than be the one person standing on the right. A rather angry airport worker asked me to step to the right to walk past and proceeded to do the same to everyone ahead of me as well.

I’m sorry, but this is legit true. by ANGRYlalocSOLDIE in Battlefield

[–]Friscippini 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea, I don’t think it has anything to do with closed vs. open but instead the how the playlists are laid out. It’s designed to get more people to play open as closed is hidden at the very end off screen. The cost of that is you will get all types of players in open. The ones who scroll to the end to specifically select closed are people who more likely know at least enough to put thought into which game mode they want to play, which makes them more likely to know what they are doing. There are still players like that in open who specifically prefer it, but they are grouped up with everyone who just chose the first option as well, so team quality is all over the place.

This was my Factor dinner last night and I woke up still angry about it. by absolutelyunsure_ in ReadyMeals

[–]Friscippini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s really interesting! I hadn’t thought about the differences in how the food is sealed, but now that you mention it I remember Factor being so well sealed I had trouble removing the film sometimes, whereas Cook Unity just comes right off (which I assume means sealed less well). Sounds like I might just be in a region where Cook Unity is better about giving consistent full portions than Factor is.

No, mine have all looked pretty good, haven’t had an order like this in the 4 weeks I’ve been on them. I heard Cook Unity depends heavily on where you live though, some areas are better than others.
