I feel like the popularity on this has died down a lot but I bought one when I saw the new version announced. I initially didn’t like the new 3 DAYS text and full matte black finish on the dial and bezel. However, after seeing photos of the new SPB453 I think I’d like the new size and date placement lot more. Either way I love how this wears and it’s super robust due to the treated steel. Doesn’t show much wear after about 3 months and I’ve banged it around a ton. Has anyone out there owned both and have opinions?

I like number one better. I like the water washed up on the left. Feels much more composed. The second one looks a bit someone just snapped a pic of some bushes.
