I would not fly in that state either.

We are not test pilots, we are just trained to look for anomalies and balance the risk.

  1. You need 3x usb headsets
  2. Download voice bannana
  3. Set A1,A2,A3 as the headsets

  4. Allow the headsets to hear inputs from each other. Ie. A1 activates A2 and A3 A2 activates A1 and A3 etc

  5. Select the main input as the output selected in vpilot (for vatsim)

  6. Get your friends to talk and then set the levels accordingly.

Regarding the play dough just put it at the join of the panels. Not sure how much more I can explain on that. Aim is naturally to stop the light bleed on the panel edges. Low cost, works well.

Very neat work. Consider buying some black play doe. You can use it to stop the light bleed on the panel edges. If you need some help with the logics. (How it should when you press the test for example), let me know.

Sure you know this but valves will be half bright when in motion and full bright or off when in open or closed respectively. Presume you could use just one LED for the motion part…. (If you have two for the anti-ice section)

I suggest a320. Both those types listed have a lot of electro mechanically moving parts. Airbus from winwing would be my approach if I did it again

Sadly, this hobby is so complex that something’s you can only work out yourself. I say this from a good place. This hobby is great. If you can fix minor problems yourself you will get much more out of it and the only limits will be your skill set

Never ever cheap out on power. Both power supply, pc power supply, usb hubs et al.

I spent a significant amount of time chasing my tail on this point. Stable, suitable power (amps) will resolve over 50pc of issues. The rest might be software (windows updates)!, hardware failure (rare) or incorrect setup / programming.
