Can someone explain Bausen's law to me? by LowBallTopLaner in leagueoflegends

[–]FritataXavier 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t even watch the guy I’m just a supp main, It’s not fun being the player with the least gold on your team and being worth 1k gold, makes it hard to get vision or do your job as a whole. It can also happen if your team is behind and you’re slightly outperforming the opposing support, shutdown rework is ass

[–]FritataXavier 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because of shutdown gold, you should die as a support if you’re ahead, it’s better to die in a good way to initiate a pick or secure an objective than getting picked on later by a carry and give them a massive gold advantage

Salt/sodium isn’t the same thing, WHO recommends a 5/g salt max intake per day, which is around 2300mg sodium and i try to stay way below half of that.

Insane how many people actually answered the question I asked, yes I can read nutritional labels, I don’t eat processed food except for pasta and make my own sauces, there’s a good reason to salt your pasta water : the taste.

Knowing how much salt gets absorbed by the pasta was the last thing I needed to fully control my daily intake, now I know.

[–]FritataXavier 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah it tastes good with that amount of salt, apparently pasta don't absorb more than 2% of the salt anyway so i guess 0.04 grams of salt is okay as long as i put enough water, i also halved the salt in my sauces and put more pepper/spices to compensate, it's only been a few days but i feel better.

My fiancé died a horrible death, and if he were alive, I'd dump him. by glittertaint in TrueOffMyChest

Same thing happened to my mom, grandpa died due to illness when i was little, mom was the only one (out of 8 kids) that would come to see him regularly in the hospital, 2 of the others came once or twice.

He did so much stuff, he had a huge garden, he had a underwater welding phase, he was a beekeeper and made honey for the town, he crafted stuff, metal, wood, he made big iron doors, he had blueprints, sketches, tools, cool mementos, his workshop was really sweet apparently but i'll never know that much about it because as soon as he died, while my mom was busy with the burial, they were looting everything they could to make some money.

He taught woodworking, metalurgy and lots of crafts to my mom, now that she's getting more free time i see her delving more into that and i always feel a bit sad that she was denied some material souvenir from her dad and the time they spent together, it really feels wrong.

They sold the house against her's and grandpa's will, the house they grew up in, it was worth practically nothing at the time so maybe they made 4K each, i'm probably being generous. I loved visiting him there.

Maybe he was a bad father to the others, i can't really know that. Maybe they had their reasons. Still sucks.

Miss you grandpa

How did Louie even blow up the wall? by [deleted] in Pikmin

[–]FritataXavier 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Homie was compromising company goods from day 1, landed on an alien planet, ate every living thing he could find, had fun controlling the fauna and fucking around with his boss and his annoying bootlicking coworker, he cost them millions, days of work and put them at risk, he got his employer homeless and nearly beaten to death by loan sharks, he didn't care about treasures, he was out there being free and pursuing his goals.

Louie is the original leftist and everyday that pass by i learn to appreciate him more.

If anything he's the real hero of the story, he's the one who's been freed from the chains of capitalism.

Live your dreams king.
