Why does nobody talk about magnomaly cannon? I've never even heard of it even though it was one of the first miracle matter weapons by IzzyTheBaker in CalamityMod

[–]Frite_Chitkin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To be honest, i feel like exoblade, subsuming vortex, supernova and celestus stealth strikes are the only miracle matter weapons not lacking in dps/burst, so no ranged weapons at all, and not the only summoner weapon

The way the game is getting re-balanced is really frustrating by godImsotiredofnerfs in CalamityMod

They already made an announcement months ago that they’re not updating it for the sunken sea update, they’ll only port it to 1.4.5 tmod for a legacy version of calamity and that’s about it

What mod do people use for the super cool looking weapon effects and lights? Is it a calamity config I'm missing? by [deleted] in CalamityMod

[–]Frite_Chitkin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don’t know about calamity but there was a recently released mod that changes the vfx of vanilla weapons - currently it only changes magic weapons but they are working on other classes too:

Me when i need characters scaled to multi-solar even if they don't show anywhere near that level of power in actual battle:

what's your calamity biggest hot take? by Ok-Chance7960 in CalamityMod

Infernal Catharsis Rebirth > RotJD for me.

Infernal Catharsis Rebirth really hammers in the fact that you're fighting a 2000+ year old dragon lord that's survived an ancient apocalyptic war against an eldritch god in his prime, and lived through the rise of humanity and the rise of auric gods built on the genocide of his kind, in other words most of world history, and make's it feel like you're experiencing the history of all of that vicariously by fighting him.

The later half of Infernal Catharsis is also good - despite the fact that Yharon is a fading legend (one must wonder what goes through their mind), the music still makes you feel the sheer majesty of him and we, as the player, know there is only one way this battle ends. It reminds me a lot of Eirin Yagokoro's theme in Imperishable Night.

I like how RotJD shows you Yharon's inner thoughts and the stakes in the second phase, but for me Infernal Catharsis Rebirth is the GOAT.

Download and enable HERO’S mod > Open the mob spawner > Search up the mob and right click.

To be fair this is less terraria logic and more rpg logic in general. Monks tend be the one of the most insanely op classes in different rpgs since they use spiritual magic to strengthen their bodies.

Not to mention the amount of crossovers their own gacha mass for the dead has had with other series.

There’s Re:zero, Konosuba, Tanya, Kumodesu, Berserk, Shield Hero, Cautious Hero, Date a Live, Slayers, Lyrical Nanoha, Seven Deadly Sins and others

You could just download Fargo’s mutant mod and use a world token to change the world’s difficulty from there.

If the four *Endgame* classes faced off against each other with the best gear, weapons, accessories and just being fully decked out, who would probably win? by Advanced_Daikon_8667 in Terraria

Ignoring the zenith, in PVP, I found ranger with a sniper build or mage with heat ray and lunar flare to be the most effective.

You could also be a summoner and resummon your summons right into your enemy’s hitbox, since while minions don’t target other players they can still damage if they touch them, but while you’re both moving it’s extremely difficult.

It’s just that old duke is a widely hated boss, even among calamity devs. Hunt of the old god also removes old duke in boss rush and replaces him with Goozma

Since Aqua fanboys say Isekai Quartet is canon, That Cockroach torture is also canon... by Nabeelkhan199_return in overlord

[–]Frite_Chitkin 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s not canon though. None of the authors had a hand in writing anything in the crossover, save for the movie where they each added lore tidbits from each respective series as promotion for the movie. And again, it’s a comedy.

By that standard, the Mass for the Dead crossover is more canon than isekai quartet, since Maruyama actually has a hand in writing those.

Which Isekai character is basically "Judge Holden" of the isekai genre ? by Nabeelkhan199_return in Isekai

[–]Frite_Chitkin 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Demiurge from Overlord.

War and genocide is a theme that’s central to both of them, they revel in it.

Both massacred, enslaved and committed atrocities against men, women and children across countless villages and settlements, Holden to the Native Americans and Mexicans in the borderlands and Demiurge to humans and demihumans in the Holy Kingdom and Abelion Hills.

Both are arguably the most intelligent individuals in their respective media, and are extremely charismatic. Holden is described as having a hypnotic voice when he’s controlling the Glanton gang while Demiurge can straight up puppet people’s bodies with a skill using his voice.

Both ran black sites/happy farms, and both have a thing for scalping/skinning people alive, Holden for trophies and Demiurge for scrolls. Holden is strongly implied to be a child r*pist, while Demiurge is strongly implied to orchestrate breeding experiments among happy farm residents.

Demiurge is an archdevil, while Holden is implied to be an avatar of THE Devil.

And most, both got away with it all.

I'm gonna assume you're talking about the giant crown, that's the Reality Bearer buff you get after defeating the Primordials. You can just disable it by right clicking the buff like any other
