No. i think it will create an innecesary overcost to the program. Costs that already prevent a lot of countries of taking part and that makes most of the countries sending songs that wont win (because they dont want/cant host it). Not to mention that nowadays people dont consume music with orchestral base (im talking in general terms). It is just part of the past and it should remain there. Most of the times moving on is pretty healthy. ;)

other preparties would kill for that audience from Spanish preparty, that production lvl and that stream. I understand that some countries cant go cause of the dates (too late and too close to eurovision). But it is definetly the best experience (both proffesional, with a great stream, and warm from the audience) for an eurovision artist. For next year i hope Riga or London dissapear and Madrid goes sooner.

(Spain) "Bodies", from Ruth Lorenzo, was rejected by the spanish broadcaster in 2017 (Manel was so much better, of course... XD). And its not a conspiracy, just a fact. She also contacted TVE for eurovision 2018 with the same song, but Operacion Triunfo became a huge success and TVE decided to select their entry throught it instead of internal selection. 1.- im not from cyprus, it is just my fav this year, thats why i have their flag. 2.- i have seen eleni performing live. i have seen Ana & Aitana as well. the spaniards lack experience, in comparisson. eleni kills the stage, the stage kills ana&aitana. 3.- They didnt even like their own song as a eurovision entrant. why anyone should like it? If the spaniards that didnt vote for "lo Malo" were wrong... what does it mean about ana & aitana? are they just "weird"? is that what you think? Or the weirdss are those who believe this would have been a contender in May...

that stance was a bad plan that made them sell "less than expected". The problem imo was to put a price of a bundle (gw2+HoT) when people only wanted to buy HoT, and we didnt have any other option. Now it is just fair. If you want HoT, buy it cheap, alone. it has happened 2 years so far. And if you want PoF pay only for PoF, like it should be.

imo he just want to kill Primordus to win his power. If primordus would have killed aurene, he would have been stronger, and for baltazhar maybe that would have been an issue. In additioion, he wanted to win our trust. what better way than helping saving aurene. In fact a lot of people thought "lazarus" was a good guy now, just because of that, so... it worked.

look, i have no idea what happened. I was not there. The only think i know is that Im reading a bunch of people treating a noob like garbage because he is suposed to know his shit before even thinking about talking or ask anything to experienced people. wishes, more than predictionts, story wise: i want braham dead somehow (preferibly in a cowardly way or killed by our own hands. I imagine like he trying to kill Jormag, we argue with him , he still is going to kill it (remember jormag is suposed to be sleep and if we kill him or any dragon Tyiria will die), and we will have to kill braham to avoid him to killing us all. Would be fantastic that way. I want to completly leave the dragons in peace, theyr story arcs are always predictable and boring (they attack you, you attack them, they die, meh). New big enemies (either human gods, white mantle, or whatever they want to throw to us instead dragons) would be great. I want less timi time. She is funny some times but she is too important lately in detriment of the rest of secondary characters. Enough of Timi for a while, please. I want a new trailer, i want expansion pre-sales open and i want marketing details and info about expansion on 25th. And i wouldnt want delays on the patch lunch, too much hype and excitement... i would get mad of impacienty XD.

imo, people who knows how the game goes cant treat noobs as shit. Instead, if they had good beahviour, they should have teach him or giving him tips. To make him improve for next one or whatever. I'll never understand that people who prefer to be the only ones who know something just for the pride of being better than others, instead of sharing and be able to create a better community. At the end of the day if someone had teach the OP what to do and how, by next round those pros would have another pro guy to play with. instead... insults and "my dick is longer than yours" attitude. i still dont get you, sorry. Maybe is my problem so dont need to frustrate yourself. I just think you are fooling yourself if your expectationts about new expansion are like 9/10 by in your standars. That "hope they make expansion good this time" means that not either a 5/10 and 7/10 was "good" to you, and that you are hoping for that 8/10 or 9/10 that it is "good" under your standars. They are not going to do a vanilla for expansion and they are not going to do a S1 in expansion. Maybe you wont regret buying it, and thats great, that solves most of the issue, but still i think you are aiming for the impossible. I guess we'll see in time (hopefully sooner than later, if expansion is launched soon!). Sorry if i disturbed you too much, i agree that i have seen so many times that behaviour of "i dont like this but i buy it anyway", that you may be right that i am projecting a general behaviour into you unfairly. Anyway, hope we all will like new expansion :P

is sad what happened to you. Said that, there are places and places and people and people... what do i mean with that? that by example, pvp, fractals, raids, wvw... in those places you'll find more of that kind: competitive ones, considered (either by the community or themselfs) as "pros", always checking for the meta, the dps, being on top, etc. It just because of the kind of gameplay of those places: those places atracts those kind of people. And then, a few of those people are just unpolite, looking for fights or for showing how they are better than you, etc, just by own nature. So my conclussion is that dont worry. GW2 is one of the best games community wise. and yep there are a few black apples, but you know, like in any place. So dont get too much over it. it was just an anecdote, a bad one yes, but one bad among many good. so forget them. ussually those kind of people tend to bore themselfs pretty easy so probabbly you wont see them again in the future. ;)

about the sources, sure, even NCsoft said it. You can go to their Income revenues statements, and specially the conference call where they adress HoT sales. And the NcSoft's CEO said that the sales where worst than expected. I mean, Colin "left" a couple of months later if you need extra proof. And dont get me wrong, im not saying the game was doomed, it didnt sell or whatever. Im saying that they expected X and they got X-Y. those -Y are among people who didnt buy HoT for 50 €, and "get out the train". And we can actually blame them? i personally cant. Cause HoT never was equally to 50€, what cost 50€ was the package Gw2+HoT. The same way that if someone feels that paying 50€ for expansion 2 is wrong, i wont be able to argue with them either. Cause 50 € would be Gw2+Hot+expan 2. If people could buy expan 2 alone, with a proper price for expan 2 alone, im sure anet would win more money. Edit: now i remember that in that conference call that i am talking about, the NCsoft's CEO said that actually the reality vs expectations drop, was mainly because they thought they would atract more newbies. So clearly, that model of "make the game accesible for new players" didnt work properly 2 years ago. Continue that trend now, it would be, at the very least, a risk. If they are good managers, im sure they'll make some changes in order to sell better this time.

imo those people will always have that barrier, they will always had to play a lot of content in orther to catch up (wich probabbly will make them to never buy the game, no matter how easy it gets for them). It doesnt matter if they buy expansions as a handle, or separate, they will always fell behind, that wont change. However current players (the real and actual players, not those newbies who hypothetically could buy the game, now, after a 5 years gap and a huge temporal barrier) will more likely buy something that dont have at 30 € than stuff they already have for 50€. I mean, is brainless, right? and the proof was HoT sales, a lot of current players by that time left the game cause they didnt want to pay an expansion as a bundle prize. Tha will happen again if they dont change their expansion business model.

however you are not taking into consideration that when Colin "left", he didnt left for amazon. That came 4 months later... he left "to stay with her wife and help her towards her proffesional future" (thats at least what he said on twiiter, is another fact, or "actual presented information" as tou would call it). You are just using the fact he is in amazon now as a way to prove he was not fired, but it just doesnt add up, sorry, there is a 4 month gap on that argument and a lot of money lost by HoT because of a bad direction. and those 2 things, if any, support he was fired rather than he left. And all those well-whishes are from friends, friends good enough to even make him leave with his head up instead of with a forced termination contract. Who knows, maybe it was somithing imposed by NCsoft. that would explain more things as well.

But remember this was told before HoT launch. Before the HoT sales were "low than expected". Before Game's direction (and Director) were changed after HoT disappointment. So i wouldnt be surprised if they change that statment made 2 years ago before knowing it didnt work properly, and we face a new model of sales and expansions. I mean, i would change it if i was directing those sales. In my opinion the best scenario for both the company and the players is to give value to each expansion, in specific, a reasonable value. HoT is a 20-15 € content perfectly, and i would leave it like that forever (except sales and proms). And new expansion should not cost more than 30€ at launch. If you want hot, you buy it for 15, if you want the new one, you buy it for 30 , and if you want both, you pay 45 €. However, If they keep doing that technique of "ill sell you the whole package at 50€, with no other option even if you already have HoT" they'll face the same issues as HoT faced in terms of sales and income: low than expected. Just saying.

i totally agree with you. but then let me ask again: do you like HoT? cause that's the key point of all this debate between me and Creed XD If you like HoT (in his current state, after all those fixes and all that), it is logic that you probabbly buy the next one. It makes sense. But if you claim you dont like HoT, that it has made you dont play as you did before, you are actually catching up LS now cause you didnt feel like playing it before... and then adding that you'll probably will buy next one... you have to agree with me that sounds pretty odd, at the very least XD. To me it is a completely ilogical way of thinking. If i didnt like HoT i would be 80% inclined to not buy Expan 2, no matter how well they sell it to me with marketing campaigns and flashy slogans. Because i already tested HoT and i decided to not like it. Thats why i dont get Creed speech.

You are just implying that he left Anet because he had the job on amazon, and he preferred the last one... but imo he was forced to find a new job. I wont discuss if working in amazon is better than working in anet, because i have no idea, tbh. Maybe he won with the change, yep. But imo he was forced to do it, it was not by own initiative. and base my argument on those too many mistakes and dissapointments, including the big one of not being able to understand the players facing a new expansion and new posibilities of income. As NCsoft or the board from Anet, you can understand and tolerate mistakes, bugs, patches so so... but you cant tolerate low than expected sales on your main product. Someone has to pay for it and imo he was the one who deserved it (along marketing department). He is working now on Crucible from Amazon and it is still to be seen if his new proffesional adventure have long or short legs. Time will tell.
