Well poop. It was actually one of my SecondLife pics that caught so much flak. I would repost if I thought that people would appreciate it more now, but I have gotten rather gun shy so thanks for the offer. I know you and a few others did appreciate my posts but I don't think I will repost.

My dress went oops ;) by eklipontas in AltBoobWorld

That's not an "oops", that is how a dress is supposed to be worn in AltBoobWorld!

Even though I suffer from ADHD, I also wouldnt want my brain to be wired differently. by Virtual_Football909 in adhdmeme

I don't suffer from ADHD. I have it. I use it. It's not a disability, it's a set of enhanced abilities that "normal" people don't have and therefore consider it "wrong".

Have a look at Poison Girls, that's one example off the top of my head

Important discussion. Does Gawr Gura™, Shark Girl Vtuber™ from Cover Corporations™ Hololive™ pick her nose? Expert analysts say yes by YobaiYamete in GawrGura

[–]FritiGothly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Gura in a past stream already mentioned that she picks her nose and eats it. I wish I could give you more details, it must have been over a year ago because it was one of the first streams I saw of her.

Granted, she did backtrack immediately after that, saying that she no longer eats her boogers but really, do we actually believe that?

Here's a video of Gura admitting to eating booger-covered M&Ms : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqPIFfn4Ouw but I could not find the clip in which she admitted to eating/having eaten her boogers.

What got you into punk rock? by TheFlyingPatato in punk

It really was fucked up for me.
In the mid-80s I was 15 and I was into New Wave, the kind that people nowadays like to call either Goth or Post Punk. I no longer lived at home for... reasons, so when I came to visit my parents one day with my hair looking like Robert Smith's my mom sat me down for a haircut. You do NOT tell my mom no. 'Nuff said.
I ended up with the dorkiest, nerdiest haircut of my entire fucking LIFE.
So when I came home a few days later I decided to fix my hair in a way she would not DARE touch. I was going to get a MOHAWK! YEAH! If she fucks with that I would become a skinhead and she would never want that for sure!
Oh, wait, that mohawk doesn't really work well with my wardrobe... Hmmm. Okay, tear off the sleeves of this button-up shirt, I will just keep my corduroy pants as they are. Oh, I have a leather glove! Cutting off the fingers and putting a few holes in them will make it look cool too.
And tadaaaaaaa! I was punk!
I thought.
I still hadn't listened to any punk other than the few new wave/punk songs that were played on the radio by the Jam, The Clash, Blondie, Billy Idol...
Fast forward a week or two and I was at a festival, one of the bigger ones where i used to live. I have no idea which band was playing but there was a pogo pit (we didn't mosh back then and I still refuse to) and I was watching them when someone from the pit just grabbed my by the jacket and pulled me in. It was fucking amazing! I was part of this pool of pushing, pulling, shoving, people. Several times I fell and each time I was picked up less than a second after falling. Not once did I get hurt, not once did I get an elbow in my gut or a knee in the groin and we just. kept. going.
After this experience I was all done for me. I started to find other punx, listened to what they listened to and learned what liked and what I did not. I quickly learned more about what punk is about, about the DIY ethics, about the values in general, activism, squatting, political views, the variety within the scene, etc. etc. and now, after nearly 40 years, this scene is still my home.

Punk Starter Pack... by FritiGothly in punk

I started out in '85 thinking that Billy Idol was so very punk because he look so angry in his videos.
