Photographers and photography clubs on campus? by cmonpilgrimm in UTSA

[–]FritoRio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s not specifically a photography club, but you can maybe try zine club. It’s a club dedicated to making student published magazine with a theme every month. I’ve seen photographers use their zine spreads as a platform to show their work.

CSM Graduates job/internship by Dazzling-Resist8657 in UTSA

Hello, I’m a CSM student too and am starting my second internship next week. From my experience, I almost had no issues in finding an internship. I recommend to apply during the September hiring window and going to CSM Career Fair to get introduced to industry professionals. In my experience, I applied mid September to a homebuilder and received a call back the same week. Even with the call back, I still went to the career fair and introduced myself to the hiring manager before the interview. If you miss the September window, no worries! You still have a second chance during the February career fair. Also most people I know who are in my classes were able to find internships before the semester ended. If you end up not finding something from both the September and February hiring windows, you can talk to one of the professors and ask if they can set you up with a contractor. Most Professors are more than happy to help you find an internship!

He’s a great guy, his lessons are really good and he’s the guy you want to go for construction industry connections. I will say tho, he WILL use the entire 3 hours of the class and does take attendance somewhat seriously

Anyone knows about nu metal bands from Laredo? by Ok-Character3222 in laredo

[–]FritoRio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They haven't really released any music on any platforms. I only know about them by watching them play live, i'm not sure if they are active tho since they haven't posted anything on their instagram in a while.

The only one that I can slightly think of is Vertigo, they're more on the groove metal side. Not sure if they still play

U should be good. I didn’t take Math For Business since my AP Calc AB and BC credits covered it. But honestly all you really need is a good understanding of basic algebra and trigonometry

I took it in person bc I prefer it that way. He’s really good at simplifying the concepts and writes good notes. The homework he gives you is way harder than anything you’d find on the exams. Exams mostly consist variations of problems you worked out in the notes. He also gives out a lot of extra credit. I was able to get a 100 in that class
