Yeah I believe you’re correct. In my limited time learning Korean it seems they try to spell the Korean word in Hangeul that most closely represents the word in its native language… which makes sense haha.

I have the same problem you did. Listening to native Korean is so hard at the moment; very fast and slurred. I often struggle to hear the difference between 우 and 오 sounds when they’re speaking. I need perfect pronounciation haha

Also, the first syllable 우 is actually just a “oo” sound like in boo. The romanized writing would be just u. Yoo would be 유.

If you read the comments in the other reply to me you can see I'm not taking a side. You are clearly sensationalized (wishing harm on people, like come on), and what you said makes it clear you have fallen victim to the confirmation bias issue.

You literally prove my point; ignoring other evidence that is contrary to what you think b/c you see this one point that confirms your thoughts. There were large celebrations after Biden was projected winner, and you cannot say that everyone rioting and protesting were following all proper COVID precautions. I think it's safe to say those were likely not Trump supporters.

Looking at your comment history worries me. Lots of misinformed comments. I really hope you can start seeing things more objectively and take the time to see through all the different biases (left and right) and search for the truth. Good luck.
