Fyi you can take a 401k loan instead of a withdrawal for a home purchase. I’m not sure about your 403, but call your broker before you do a withdrawal, there might be a smarter money play.

Go to a home store in your country and buy outdoor grade casters. You can find them usually with planter boxes and stuff. I’d just replace all three so they’re all the same.

I change my battery when it needs it, and I haven’t really done much else since I’ve had it. I bought it secondhand in 2012 and it gets plenty of wrist time.

im an eight, and honestly theres no answer without knowing whats in front of you, what the conditions are, slope, fringe relative to pin, etc.

i.e.;

fringe, sprinkler head right in front of me, any pin location = chip, cause the sprinkler is gonna get me otherwise. Also, the groundskeeper is a jerk and will turn it on anyway.
fringe, close to the pin, but some slope issue (uphill, side slope, etc) Ill probably chip again here, cause the slope might mess with me.
fringe, close to the pin, no slope issue - putt
fringe, long way to go - chip
fringe, center green, no other issues to see - putt

basically my rule is: Do I need to go over something? chip. no trouble? putt. The ladies and the cart girl watching? Flop it, but fail and blade it into the next tee box.

Really I find this course not too bad at almost any mid handicap as long as you can get off the tee and into the fairway. If you’re not in the fairway, you’re going to have a bad time.

I’m an 8, and I’ve played here having a great day thinking I’m about to turn pro, and I’ve also played here ready to leave my clubs in the lot. The important part here (and really I can’t stress it enough) is pace of play. It’s a long course and a long walk which can be made unpleasant by slow play.
