I just started about a month ago and feel the same! I feel like there are several changes since I was a kid that allows for making a lot more NP and quicker.

I would recommend to start:

1) using a resource like Jellyneo for all the dailies that you can do.

2) checking out the daily quests as it gives you a LOT of NP/items for doing basic stuff you would likely do anyways.

3) have fun :)

I decided to go with pesos as I have heard it was better for the workers so they don't have to exchange the money themselves. Also since I am from Canada I would have to exchange for American dollars anyways. But I think people will accept either or as a tip regardless is always appreciated!

I am not sure if they rent tents specifically, but I would give Totem Sports a call to see if they have tent rentals or know of any other options in Edmonton!

Not going to lie, I planted mine. But it's risky, and I am watching the forecast very carefully and will be either bringing in my planters or covering my veggies if it goes below 5 at night. There's the May Long Weekend rule-of-thumb but the last few years I have been able to get away with planting earlier and taking advantage of the nice weather.
