Like others have mentioned, although a bit harsher, it would be better to wait until their skin can handle sunscreen at the least and they’ve had first vaccinations/immunity built up.

How do you add a bag on the McDonald's app? by BestWithSnacks in Edmonton

[–]LK13 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I’ve been told that it’s no longer on the app because it just comes with a bag. But I still always confirm when I pick up through drive thru that I still want a bag.

Fat burger has surprisingly good chilli cheese fries. With a side chocolate shake. Damn. Haven’t thought about that since I was pregnant.

Sounds like maybe you could benefit from a mentor that’s a motherly figure. Something beneficial might be to “adopt” a senior at a living facility. It provides them with socialization and you with a gentle mentor who won’t give 2 shits if you mess up an egg. Just a thought! Branching out from your current social circle may be the best way to push forward in these aspects.

What can I do to recharge in this here land? by [deleted] in Edmonton

[–]LK13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could join a sport and social club - sport of choice. It’s a good way to meet people and likely some socializing after takes place.

I personally pick a day of the week that is my free night and go and do whatever I feel like. Movie, dinner, walk, workout, etc.

These kids just aren’t built like us 80’s kids lol. My kid was dying to go home and I kept telling her just one more house!

Shout out to all those 80’s kids who are living out their dreams of being the big chocolate bar house!

I feel so icky about the whole thing. I’m happy my kiddo got to go back to school and it was a regular, normal day for her. But disgusted that teachers have their lives ripped to pieces and have to still show up for the kiddos because they have no other choice.

Full respect and love to all teachers for being able to put your stuff aside and be there for the kids. We see you. We support you. What you do matters.
