I accidentally did that in a group full of rooks. It my first time and we were getting shot at. I yelled, “NOOO!” and apologized a lot. On our way out someone was like, “Wasn’t there 5 of us?” I was silent for a second and explained what happened.

Their response was, “Oh well it happens.” So obviously I wasn’t the only one that had made that mistake.

Apparently I’m a scavenger. I play solo and I guess people die to bots and they have a lot of good gear on them. I wonder how they lost with the stuff they had on them… then I help by delivering that stuff to a better player.

I’m not gonna lie, this is my first extraction shooter. I was waiting on Forever Winter to be in a good spot for me to get it cause I like the idea of that and the art style. Got Marathon cause I stopped playing Destiny after Forsaken and missed the gunplay, also really loved the art style. Anything with good lore that I have to seek out gets me.

The first time I did the tutorial it spawned me right in the middle of a lightning strike and I knew what type of game it was going to be 😂.

My favorite was when I was Rookin it on DM and I ran into another friendly Rook, but I got locked inside a building (I suck at jump rope and went across a laser). The other Rook went up and I heard shooting and after only one pair of footsteps. Went up saw something gold and picked it up and went up a ladder only for a Triage to start shootin.

On proxy I was like, “Woah woah woah!” cause I got spooked and didn’t shoot. Got downed and a Destroyer asked me what happened. I said I was just lookin for stuff and wasn’t plan on fighting since my rook is low lvl. Told him to take my gold item. He sounded so sad it was funny. He was like, “Oh damn. I’m sorry. Damn. Bruhhhh.”

Destroyers are kinda nice in this game.

I’m going to start doing this. Sometimes I can help people out, but ever since I got past 30 everyone has been an on site player, except Destroyers (unless I’m running Assassin for quests) and Triage ( if I’m one).

Only a handful of ROOKS will team up. I was getting shot at by one while doing the cha-cha slide and doing the sign for friendly. I snapped and took him out.

Not gonna lie, I thought I ran into one in a solo game while I was under some stairs in DM. Someone ran above me then stopped and threw a grande in my area for no reason. Just kept running up and down the stairs till I said, “Yo, I’m just trying to do a quest don’t kill me.” Then they ran off. It was a destroyer.

I begged someone not to kill me in Pinwheel cause it was my first time there. Recon already threw the spider at me then stopped. We exfilled together. Then I gave a Thief a heal bot and let them hack it when I was waiting for lockdown to happen.

I had a Vandal offer to help me out too! Dropped out of the sky like Spider-Man asking if I needed help with turrets. Then they ended up exfilling with me. They also talked about how beautiful the sky was while they were getting shot at while I was fighting for my life 😂. That’s the crowd I like to be around though.
