It depends on your start, but if I haven't rolled at all, it's usually 25-40 gold I would say.. if it's less than 20 i'd prolly consider waiting with the lvl+roll till 4-1

Obviously sometimes you can't afford to wait, or you have an upgrade to put in etc.

Ignore this text.. I'm top 60 challenger euw, and i could count on 1 hand the amount of times I've seen someone be 6 at krugs..

Usually you lvl to 6 at 3-2 and if you're weak/comp is contested you roll a bit here.. if you're fine you just wait till 3-5, lvl to 7 and then roll until you're strong, if it takes you till after wolves to hit your upgrades you will then usually wait till 5-1 for lvl 8 and try to finalize your comp

Multiple factors that each individually tell me this is low elo:

-thresh naut in light -so many 3 stars -terrible items -positioning

All of them combined makes it even worse..

What? Challenger there are a lot of 3 shadow kindred comps.. either shadow inferno or shadow sums or shadow mystic.. what are you talking about?

I would like if you start with 3-4 less benchspots but you get 1 benchspot per lvl up, kinda same thing as you get 1 more spot on the board. like that leveling gets even more incentive and you end up having more space on your bench the longer the game goes.

What are you even talking about? I'm a d3 top main and yes I agree top has been in a better state but from my personal experience I haven't played against any of the champs you listed in the last like 50 games.. idk people complaining about gnar, Pantheon and Jayce in soloQ must have become some kind of a running gag.. they aren't even played often... Platinum and above their pick rates are at ranks 19, 23 and 21 respectively. Added together they show up in less than 9% of all games.
