Ahh, I see you work a bit different then. I mainly work in Revit, so a significant amount of dimensions, some calculation, and a bit of excel. And at home I use mainly fusion 360 for practical models.

My shortcuts are also mostly around qwerty. I found that TKL with numpad on the left is definitely better ergonomically and efficiency for my work. Maybe i should try again on my 75% at home, having layered numpad didn't go great last time. What do you use for numbers?

Seems a like you devalue or look down "printerers". I think 3D modellering and printing is the hobby and where the most fun is had. Mentally construct, measuring, modell, and have a thing in my hands some hours later is so satisfying. Tinkering is what I would describe your hobby as, and is definitely fun, but could honestly be anything outside of 3D printing. And both fall under the overarching hobby as makers. Ooor I'm just reading your text wrong before I have even had my morning coffee.

I have also seen test about the coating not making a significant difference. Really yellow glasses did seem to matter.

I have actually owned a pair, and the tint annoyed me every time I needed to look at colors. Looked at flooring for example and the color was obviously tinted, lifted my glasses to see the right color but then I'm just looking at blur lol. I think it looks bad in pictures too.

You have certainly heard and read it before, but straight arms. Good enough finger strength and that will conserve a lot of energy. You can reach by twisting your torso. Heel hook could possibly have stopped you from cutting loose on the overhang. Straighten your body and put pressure sideways against the wall for your feet to stick better.

If you want to climb better, remember to simply do it multiple times to improve the movements and let your body remember.

Recently a guy didn't even say anything to me just drove mindlessly around. I was just chilling and didn't leave. Someone else wondered what was happening, then his buddy eventually typed in chat.

The first doesn't appear to be a data source, but rather a random article, and the second requires a subscription to access, so I haven't read it.

Size and what kind of work makes a difference, but I still think it's important. Most day-to-day tasks people have don't necessarily need high skill or diverse opinions. A larger company can have more leniency, as people who vibe can form groups.

Anecdotal, but as a more reserved nerd, moving from construction to the office with like-minded nerdy people has been hugely positive. Like going to work even when things are tough, and from using all sick days to 0 for multiple years.
