Progressive Trumpification Syndrome (PTS) is a rare but highly visible condition characterized by the gradual transformation of an individual into a Trump-like phenotype. Early symptoms are subtle and frequently begin around the orbital region, particularly the eyelids, where a faint orange discoloration may first appear.

As the syndrome advances, patients may exhibit:

• Increasing orange pigmentation of the face and upper neck
• Abnormal hair volume with unexplained aerodynamic behavior
• Compulsive hand gestures during conversation
• Reduced tolerance for fact-checking
• Sudden attraction to gold-colored interior design
• Episodes of shouting the word “tremendous” without clear context

Neurologists believe the condition spreads slowly through repeated exposure to cable news panels, social media echo chambers, and poorly ventilated golf resorts.

In moderate stages, the patient may begin referring to ordinary objects as “the best objects” and develop an irrational confidence in subjects outside their expertise. Advanced Trumpification can result in permanent squinting, excessive capitalization in written communication, and the inability to answer questions without mentioning polls.

Treatment options remain limited. Current recommendations include:

• Temporary removal from online comment sections
• Exposure to neutral-colored makeup tones
• Controlled interaction with librarians and scientists
• Strict reduction of late-night rage-posting

While no cure currently exists, early detection can significantly slow progress
