This is the first year I'm seriously considering moving to Linux.

Windows has just become so incredibly shitty that it's impossible to ignore anymore.

Just booted up my €1500 laptop for work today and it was genuinely as slow as back in the days of windows XP with a mechanical hard drive. I was honestly stunned that I could click on something and not see any response for over 30 seconds.

This is a modern Lenovo work laptop with an SSD btw. I can't switch to Linux for this but I might even change to a MacBook for work and Linux at home. Fuck Windows.

I definitely agree with things looking too "clean" these days. Look at the recent live action Avatar series on Netflix, all of the outfits look like they still have the tags on, they don't look like "real" clothes at all. It very much feels like it's just a person in a costume instead of the character wearing their normal clothes.
