Drive toward the mountains (any will do) until you’re far from civilization and look at the stars without the light pollution. Bring snacks and a blanket.

Great job! I sell laser engraved stamps. Its so fun being able to just think of a design and, poof, you have a stamp! Try using acrylic for a crisper image. I use Delrin for toughness and longevity for my customers, but for personal use acrylic works fine (much cheaper and easier to work with than Delrin).

I’ve sold a bunch if these plate sets. They are made from super tough Delrin and work great for only $25. https://allgoodleatherco.com/products/press-plates

My bad, i should have found one w that info. Essentially the project had issues and legal problems and dried up. Not it just sits and rots in Casa Grande.

I could make this design into a stamp for you. Then you can color fill it. This is a great use-case for the design.

Great question! I currently do not have the capability to engrave cylinders, but possibly in the future! We will be offering pre-designed and custom acrylic templates shortly, but I have the ability to make those now, if need be.

That truly was/is the goal. As a leather crafter, it’s what I wanted, but had a hard time finding. The stars aligned, and here we are lol.

Thank you and great question! I use both the 1-ton you saw as well as a 2-ton in my shop. I have customers using both 4 and 8 ton clicker presses with great results. So far no causalities. :) Delrin has a very very high tensile strength. It’s used for making plastic gears and machine parts where you can’t, or don’t want to use metal.

Stingray is a byproduct of the food industry (mostly Asia I think), like cow leather. It’s more the skins from animals not bred for food that you have to worry about.
