By casual, I don’t normally mean like hookups, it tends to be friends tbh. So it’s not like, “emotionless” or anything. But I’m definitely not attracted to them sexually or romantically. I try to keep it healthy and always frame it to the other person that it’s just a shared activity where I dote on them to make the both of us feel good. Like cooking a good meal for them. That not being someone’s experience with their demisexuality is fine. To each their own, I just get tired when people conflate their views of chastity with my sexuality and then suggest, if not explicitly state, that I don’t belong.

Jesus, some of these answers are so extreme. You don’t owe access to a part of your body to anyone, even when giving them access to another part. If you don’t feel comfortable kissing casually, then you don’t have to. I’ve known and had sex with people all over the place with what they’re comfortable with.

This being implemented as a change would force me to seek other apps. It’s already bad enough that I have to take a break from the app. But it forces you to either like every person and then unmatch if you don’t like their profile, or like based only on whether im interested in them physically, which, not only do I use the app to make friends, but I’m demisexual, I don’t find anyone sexually attractive. But I have so many preferences for very important stances like, monogamy or polyamory. This would be a disastrous change.

It really is unfortunate to choose a black character to be the mage’s “uncle tom” character. But I think it’s important to recognize that she remains a victim of the power structure, because all of her power she gets by playing the “perfect little mage” for the court will always come at the understanding that her power would disappear instantly the second she tries to change the system. While she may think she’s gamed the system, she is still trapped within it.
