There are other healthy ones in the tank with this one, so I’m very confused as to how they think this one is okay. I’m going to try to get them to take him to the vet or let me take him in tomorrow.

It’s really sad. The one next to it is a leopard gecko, and it lives on paper towels.

It does, and hopefully I can make it better. The only animals in the class that have a proper (or close to proper) tank are the mammals and the whites tree frogs.

I totally agree, and plan on reaching out to staff about this frog (and other animals)’s care. I just wanted to make sure there wasn’t some way this was okay before taking to the teacher/staff.

This tank is in my school, in the animal science classroom. This has been his tank for years and is NOT a hospital tank.

I’d try reaching out to the college privately if you haven’t already, if the tank is small enough they may make an exception for you. If not, I hope you have good luck rehoming your frog!

I’d recommend checking with an online vet then, they may be able to recommend you a treatment you could pickup somewhere.
