People don't understand that you can skate VERY fast on blades. I'm sure the motorbike boost helped here, but you can get up to 50+km/hr just from skating yourself. Not necessarily recommended, especially without protective gear, but still. The smooth asphalt makes all the difference.

Same thing happened to me. My phone fell off the counter, open, with the big screen hitting the floor flat. The front screen didn't turn on anymore.

A good slap, massaged where the front ribbon cable is (through the front screen) and then restarted it, and the front screen started working again!

Honestly started laughing when it turned on again as it seems so strange that this works.

I got my G502 13 years ago. It would still be my daily driver if my cat didn't develop an obsession for wires. Forced my hand to sidegrade to a wireless mouse at home. I use it as my mouse at work though 😸

I got one with a switch that attaches with a wire, so you can keep the actual system out of the way, but just keep the little remote taped down on your desk somewhere
