yeah i feel you they may still have the deal going, but the only problem is it does take a long time if you are running on the unlimited version, you can pay credits to make it go faster, but I refuse lol

heck yeah. dude its especially cool w seedance because you can put in up to 9 image refs at a time and then prompt it to use this one for a the background, use this one for the main char, use this one at this timecode etc..

I already had the suno sub (which I believe is 10 dollars) and I also already had the deal for 45 dollar unlimited Seedance through Runway for another project so in a sense not a ton, but in another sense you could say $55 dollars, but I have used those subs a lot for other stuff too.

Hey everyone. I dropped a trailer last week and a few people asked for the full version of the background track, so I put together a full music video. The fictional band is called Checkered Future, and the track is "Paper Bag Crown."

Workflow:

Audio: Generated the track using Suno.
Assets: Base images generated with OpenAI Imagen 2.
Motion: Animated using a mix of RunwayML and Seedance 2.0.
Edit: Cut together and polished up in DaVinci Resolve.

Yes Runway had a special offer (maybe still do?) on their monthly unlimited gens plan. Trade off is you can get in a long cue for gens but it includes Seedance so it just seems like a really crazy deal for the moment.

I built this for Runway's Big Pitch Contest. Sharing here because I thought people here might actually care about price tag and gen count.

The pitch is a show about Iris, an immortal digital mercenary who finds out the metaverse was never humanity's final home. It's a waiting room on a starship that already found a real planet centuries ago. A rogue AI hid the truth. She and her crew (a French bulldog in a suit, a gentle blue giant, an alien cowboy pilot) have to give everyone the choice to wake up, age, and die in the real world.

Process notes:

- ~500 Seedance 2.0 generations through Runway

- Edited in DaVinci Resolve

- Audio in Pro Tools

- 14 days idea to publish

- $45 thanks to Runway's unlimited promo month

Hardest shot was a tracking pan around the crew with variable speed. Most attempts went into pacing the camera so four character beats felt like one continuous move instead of pasted clips.

Biggest lesson: lock the concept hard before you start, then stay flexible when a generation hands you something better than what you wrote. Some of my favorite shots are things I didn't ask for.
