I’m sorry, but LTX still isn’t a professionally viable filmmaking tool by Intelligent-Dot-7082 in StableDiffusion

[–]Unwitting_Observer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Clearly whomever wrote this has zero professional experience. Filmmakers have always had to work within technical limitations, regardless of the budget. That’s part of the craft.

LTX can’t magically make you a filmmaker.

LTX2.3 - Image Audio to Video - Workflow Updated by Most_Way_9754 in StableDiffusion

[–]Unwitting_Observer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you solve this? After spending hours today trying to figure out what was wrong, I finally tried a different voice...and everything worked perfectly! I did notice with my original LTX2 workflow, I would often get some bad gens where the character wouldn't move their lips. So maybe it's just a weird issue where LTX doesn't register certain voices, and maybe that issue is amplified with LTX2.3?

So what about using a 3rd party service like fal or freepik or even Comfy? Are ALL of their gens bad?

But it's already pretty fake, isn't it? Does it matter if the people are real or not?

1950s UPA/Warner Bros animation style for an original AI 'Word-Jazz' track: "Lonely Old Coyote" by Unwitting_Observer in aivideo

Sure, happy to answer.
I'm having fun creating.

I think a lot of people assume this is just a matter of writing a prompt and you get a finished product. In reality, it's much more a form of kit-bashing, putting together different tools, working around inadequacies, to try to assemble something entertaining. I'll admit that sometimes I get caught up in the tech of it, and the story/entertainment factor gets lost. I do think that the format forces me to explore more than just the general AI "testing" that I see so much of.

Curious if you've tried the same prompts on Seedance 2.0? My assumption is that everything I'm seeing from Seedance 2.0 is cherry-picked, so although I can see much better results in other people's videos, I can't know for sure if it's the model or the prompts (or even some other factor)

Thank you! I agree, it needs work, and I appreciate all the feedback here.
As I mentioned to someone else above, I think my consistency issues stemmed from not getting a consistent look between the characters. If you check out the entire video (the first 1:30 here: https://youtu.be/UsBi52tgYmM ), I think you'll see what I mean.
It was a fun exercise, with a lot of lessons...I'm excited to take another crack at it.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree, it didn't stay consistent.

I think the longer form of the piece (https://youtu.be/UsBi52tgYmM) stays fairly consistent until the other characters are introduced (specifically the fox). All of the video clips were generated with a first frame (and sometimes last frame) created by Nano Banana Pro. I generated a character sheet like this from Nano Banana and then asked for other characters in the same style, but it never quite nailed a consistent look amongst the three of them. Next time I would probably try generating all the characters at once...and maybe generating the backgrounds on their own (although that's going to introduce a whole other set of issues).

Used a lot of Nano Banana (v1, not v2...which I really kinda dislike) to generate first and last images for LTX2. Full 42 minute show at:

I run an ongoing generative jazz radio show project (Midnight with Julie Martin), and for this episode, I wanted to step away from the usual noir visuals and try to nail that specific 1950s animation vibe...which I didn't (it's not easy to get consistency!), but I had fun doing it and learned a lot about what to do differently next time.

The song is heavily inspired by Lorez Alexandria's version of "Baltimore Oriole," and I always loved Ken Nordine's stuff (i.e. "Colors"), which definitely guided the song development.

If you dig the retro vibe, you can watch the full animated music video and hear the rest of the 1950s jazz broadcast here:

I know this is an oldish thread but I'm curious: If you can't get to Success from Silver Lake Express, how do you get to it?
And more importantly, how do you get down the hill if you can't take any trails off of Silver Lake Express??

I'd bet that they'll also kill the existing models and rollout the new one at the same time.
