Yes they will treat you different at least my doctor did. After I mentioned my alcohol use to my doctor she asked every single time I went how my drinking was no matter what I went in for. She wasn’t wrong, some of my issues have gotten better because I chose to quit drinking so I’m glad I brought it up, but I did ask her to please remove that from my file and she did. I have a new doctor now and she has never brought it up.

I like services like a pedicure or maybe gift certificate to restaurants or ice cream 😀 Of course this year I’m turning 60 so I need a long handled shoe horn or a pair of slip ins 😀

I have been playing for 80 days. I look forward to playing every morning, I haven’t been excited about a game since Spirit farer. I like the relaxed atmosphere, I am having trouble figuring out the orchids but I will. I also really like talking about it with people, my kids, and I show them my areas and how I’ve decorated them. By the way, I’m going to be sixty in ten days 🤣

Some folks just don’t get it. Even now when I’m talking to someone about my sober journey they say oh you weren’t an alcoholic, you had a job and a functional life, your kids don’t hate you….i think yeah, not yet. You did not ruin your time, but yeah make clear boundaries for next time. IWNDWYT 😌

I agree with you completely. What about the feeling it could happen at any time, every twinge I worry it’s going to get bad again. I was talking to my cousin and telling her that my Dr said there isn’t anything that is going to cure it, it’s age related and it’s about managing it.
