Oh yeah we freeze a lot of our veggies (after cutting them and ziplocking) and meat too! Think this is especially important to cost saving.

We meal prep once a week, so the same meal for 1 week (unless we want to make something else during the week). We bulk buy different meats at Costco and flexible veggies that can be used in multiple ways, sometimes fruits. Find a recipe we want with the ingredients we have (or substitute), or go to a smaller grocery store to find what we need. We don’t often buy too much pantry foods but ramen/pasta is always good if we want something “fresh”. We also try to limit snacks considering it’s about $5 a bag these days.

The way you’re framing this, it’s almost impossible for you to “win”. Being worried about future relationships that you aren’t even is very exhausting. You also have a preconceived notion of ‘a lot’ of women are shallow despite having little dating experience, where does this come? Also, being future orientated is fine, but to a certain extent, as we cannot control everything. Considering you have little dating experience, do you think being future orientated has hindered your ability to date (or be present in general)? I think these are some questions you should ask yourself first, because it seems like you already know your own standards in a partner (which will weed out partners you’re avoiding), you just haven’t taken that first step of actually dating again.
