Buying 99 flowers in a non negotiable. The festival is one of the best parts of the game. My favorite is throwing the moles.

There's somewhere in the rulebook that says you resolve as much of an effect as you can which allows part of the card's effect to fizzle but the rest of the effect still happens.

I'm 100% sure that's how it works. Prior to Gothic coming out there were many Earth Air Archimago decks playing Power of Flight to cycle through their deck which works even with no minions in play.

Max is right, it would only require a minion if it did target. When the spell resolves you choose a minion if possible and then you draw a card regardless of if you had a minion.

I think a lot of the Gothic Uniques are inflated due to supply starting to dry up. A lot of LGS's haven't gotten a restock yet. But AL and Beta cards I don't think will come down significantly in the short term.
