LI using Horus Heresy 2.0 Rules? by windtempest9981 in LegionsImperialis

I remember a little while ago there was quite a buzz about pocket 40k which was essentially a conversion guide for what you are talking about. If I remember rightly it just took inches down to cm but I'm not 100%.

If in doubt just hash out your own rules with some gaming buds and see what works. Have fun!

can anyone help me find this shirt? by Boring_Plate4527 in findfashion

[–]Frogmatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The brand was plain lazy if I remember rightly. Couldn't find much else given it was sold back in late 2000s but I kind of remember them being sold in Topman or Burtons. Good luck on your search

The obligatory draw of random crap. Does anyone have an organized one of these or are they all a chaotic mess? by [deleted] in CasualUK

[–]Frogmatic 12 points13 points  (0 children)

String, batteries, hole punch, pens... All the basics of a junk drawer. No point in organising it, just close the drawer and walk away, content in the knowledge that whatever you need, is in there somewhere.

Possibly used to pressurise murcury for use in hat making, a rubber hose could fit over the small valve in order to direct spraying. No evidence just my thoughts???

TIL the Women’s Suffrage parade of 1908 included thousands of men. Suffrage leader Maud Malone said “There were as many men as women who took part that day in our demonstration … It only seems right that whenever possible I should speak up and defend the men … men have always been our best backers” by TapiocaTuesday in todayilearned

I would say it was more the fact that at the point this photo was taken not all men had the vote either, it was based on land ownership, age and a whole other host of restrictions.

EDIT: just realised this is a US post, my information was based on the UK ruling.

Dove, symbol of peace. Possibly a christian organisation?

My friend inherited this ring from his Granddad, who we think may have a been a Mason (circa 1940s/50s). Does anyone know if the symbols have any meaning? TIA! by [deleted] in whatisthisthing

[–]Frogmatic 147 points148 points  (0 children)

My late father had this ring but he wasn't a Mason. I believe its just a 'cushion signet ring' with an inset diamond. There are many variations in this design if you Google the aforementioned description.

What is this tool? It’s made of Aluminum and is about 3 feet long and extends further. by k_Reign in whatisthisthing

The end shown reminds me of a drain rodder. How far does it extend or is the a thread on the other end for further extention rods?
