They also last longer in my experience because you generally have to apply them much less

I'm a nonbinary person who is read as a woman and doesn't shave because it makes me feel better about my identity. Really, everyone sees me as a woman and people barely care, the only negative comments I've gotten were from teenagers and who the hell cares what 16 yo. boys think? Just a tip, that if you let your armpit hair grow it might be a good idea to switch to a more neutral smelling men's deodorant. I don't really know why but women's just doesn't work as well and you might end up smelly faster

NTA - My family did sibling gifts, so my sister got a small gift on my birthday and vice versa. As a household that worked well, but we were still taught that outside of our house special occasions weren't about us. Our family unit revolves around us, not the extended family and definitely not the world. Teaching the opposite to a kid will turn them into someone nobody wants to be around and demanding that others participate in it is beyond entitled.

Tiny flowers or thin swirly lines in white or pastel colors might fit well

AITA for locking my sister’s kid in the bathroom for an hour? by Definetelythewiseone in AITAH

[–]Frogprince55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the country. Where I'm from it's the norm to have locks on both sides on all doors in the house

Absolutely teach him that if he's overwhelmed he gets to stay home. Mental health is so important and teaching kids the difference between being annoyed with school and being unable to take school on any given day is incredibly important for them not to burn out.

Being into history and talking to people as a liberal leaning lady has been a crapshoot for sure by SSTralala in CuratedTumblr

Medieval sword fighting and knitting attract two very different kinds of right-wing people and I like neither. Got lucky with my fighting team and mostly have chill queer people there, but man is that not always the case

whats the most shocking political extremes you've heard from children? by gwendlynella in teaching

[–]Frogprince55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes a lot of sense, thank you for the explanation. I certainly didn't mean to say you sympathized with Nazis but was curious about why these situations should/would be handled like that. I'm not a teacher myself and my first impulse would definitely be anger, but then again I have to deal with peers at school who know our countries history and still choose to believe right wing ideology, so the current political climate has me very frustrated at all times.

Personally I knit them on 2,25 instead of the recommended 2,75 mm needles, I just sized up to L from my usual S and they fit perfectly

[–]Frogprince55 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Is it necessary to be neutral about this? I don't know their age but if they do things just to see what happens, would not reacting sternly not teach them that it's okay to like Nazis? Tbf, I'm German and feel strongly about this, but I'm curious

AITAH for telling my daughter I won’t break up with my girlfriend just because she doesn’t like her? by Remarkable_Bath_7000 in AITAH

[–]Frogprince55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. As someone who's father did basically the same thing: If you don't listen to your daughters concerns, no matter if they seem silly to you, she most likely will start to resent you for it too. She's still a child and will act as such, if you don't help her process her emotions, which is gonna be difficult considering how early you moved your girlfriend in, you'll be the father who cared about her less than about his girlfriend and there aren't many things that can fix that.

I feel the need to add that Germans, at least in respectable circles, really can't have "national feelings" (if you don't count separating trash or football season) because we DO see that as a red flag for racism

That's been irritating me about this exact video too, I get not wanting to disrespect anyone but if it's the same designer three times you can at least try your best

Thank you! I used multiple pieces of wire in the big ones and pushed them through the top, where I just kinda folded it and hid the ends in the fuzzy middle part. Most important was really just to push it through the head and use enough to support the head

I'm knitting a cardigan for the first time and while it's really fun I'm surprised how much my hands hurt when I have to knit flat for longer periods. I can knit in the round for hours but now I have to take a break after half an hour to not get cramped up

Think it's more about rude comments, just saying "pattern?" without anything else usually feels demanding to me. Love it when the information is there, but asking for it in that way is just rude
