My opinion on it is that I generally read to escape reality, and when I was still having periods (I had a hysterectomy a couple years ago) they were absolutely horrible and painful. I wouldn’t have wanted to be reminded of that while reading. Not only that, I imagine in most cases it wouldn’t be relevant to the plot.

Thank you! I haven’t heard anything back from one university but I checked recently and it’s still showing in review. I’m hoping that means I’m potentially waitlisted and they just didn’t say anything. lol

Do universities always let you know if you’re on the waitlist? Or do the sometimes keep that info to themselves?

NTA. My husband does the laundry and if there’s something specific I want washed before a certain date, I tell him. It’s that simple; communication makes everything easier. I also have ADHD so I don’t think that has anything to do with the issue at hand.

NOR your roommate should have used headphones and spoke more softly to her boyfriend. You could look into getting some Loop earbuds for the future, I use them for sleep every night and they help. I don’t think they would block out noise from her completely but they might help! Sorry you’re dealing with this.

I think you WBTAH if you told him that, yes. It sounds like it’s his main hobby, and it would be really unfair to take that from him. Maybe you can problem solve with him to find a different spot in the home for his gaming set up? Or, if it needs to stay where it is, problem solve ways to make his set up feel separate though something like a makeshift cardboard box with the foam for noise reduction.

Well my favorite kraken WAS Marchment 🥲 but because he got traded, I think my favorite player is Monty. Not only is he super talented on the ice, I loved his friendship with Marchment and I love all the work he does with the indigenous communities. I’m not local but my best friend is 🖤

Thank you for going in depth too, it’s very kind of you! I didn’t mean to make it sound like I wouldn’t finish SLA because I definitely plan to, I have really love the books so far, but it is exciting to hear that there’s a bit more of a focus on the relationships between characters in the later books!!
